Compressor has AD/DC connection, no Angus Young. It's pretty easy to use. Hook it up to your tire. It will show the PSI level (more to that later). Press the up or down to mark how much PSI you want to pump. If you use a AC connection, just press the AC button and DC, DC button. It will start pumping to the level you had it marked. Here's the thing. Get an accurate tire gauge. This thing is off like 5-10 PSI. I should know because I tested it with other gauges. Also this thing could have a longer hose. The hose is like 5 inches long which is just enough to hook up to your tire, but when you have to extend the power cable to it's max length and you have only 5 inches of this hose to spare, it renders it difficult to use. After setting to 77psi it reached 75psi in the rear tires that my camper van requires. Also reaching the psi was a little slower than I anticipated. The dc cord and air hose needs to be a foot or two long longer. I was barely able to reach the rear tires from the 12v connector in the rear of the van. The dc button was off and I found it in the box and pushed it back on. It still doesn’t seem to be a tight fit. ... show more

1. Some tire inflators turn out to exceed 10A while working, which my Prius would not like. This one peaks out at under 10A. Max current is often hard to determine from the description, so you may have to do some work if you have a 10A maximum DC-from-car rating. 2. Some inflators have a clamp-on to the tire; some screw directly onto the valve stem. This one can do either! 3. Some inflators run on 110V house voltage, some on 12V cigarette-lighter socket in car. This one does either! The pressure readout and limiter are a bit off the true values, but who cares?! You should use a good tire gauge to make your final judgement anyway! ... show more

The unit worked as advertised. One note, when using the screw on attachment to the tire stem, removal of the hose results in some air loss as the hose is unscrewed. To deal with this suggest you add a pound or two of PSI over the desired pressure to account for the loss of air on removal. The hose could be alittle longer however the unit is light enough to be held by the handle while it pumps, so it doesn't have to be sitting on the ground during operation. I only topped of tire pressures so added about 4-5 PSI per tire. Took maybe 15-20 seconds per tire to reach the desired pressures. I used AC power. Several of the pictures indicate a three prong AC plug, but this unit comes with a two prong. I also note that the Pump came with a clamp style attachment for the hose, however the clamp head seemed to be plastic and I wasn't sure if it was meant for car tires or only bikes. The tire inflator had everything that I wanted in an inflator, except maybe a mattress mattress adaptor. I also liked the fact that you gave me enough DC cord to get all my tires. In any case, I jumped right to it and dialed in my car tire pressure. It took about a minute to inflate my tire from 30lbs to 35lbs. In all, I like it but thought it would be a touch nicer if there was a bit more room to stash the cords. You really have to jamb them in their storage compartments and the AC cord wants to pop out because there is nothing to hold it in. Also, if there was an option for a blinking yellow light for night emergencies, that would be cool. LEDs have many options these days for color. But all in all, for the price it was a nice product – especially since it came in a nice bag. Hopefully it last longer than the Husky I bought 3 years ago. ... show more
