This product is well made, and durable. I use these for several laptops I have setup for public display in my business. I would recommend this product. In my opinion it is extremely overpriced, however I wasn't able to find any alternatives to fit laptops with "mini-slot".

    • Kensington Lock for Laptop
This locking device works well. You do need to find something appropriate to wrap it around, but I do not find that difficult. Nobody is going to want to steal your laptop with this obvious cable attached. It will not come off without the key, unless you break the side of the laptop.

It is the only product that can be mounted on a notebook.(HP Envy 13 / 2015.4Q ~ 2016.1Q, model 038tu, 042tu, etc. ) Expensive but satisfactory.

    • Nice concept, but didn't work for my laptop
This is a nice concept that would leave enough room for USB slot. However, it didn't work for my HP Envy x360 2-on-1 convertible. Even unlocked it was too wide to fit into the slot. I guess I have a nano slot, but it was listed as such on the specs.
