Thanks to its ratchet design, it is more adjustable than many other belts, primarily traditional belts that use holes. Since I've used it, it has held up pretty well, and the buckle also looks fashionable: Formal, yet modern. This makes it good for both professional and casual use. The belt is also easy to tighten and remove. It also won't tighten when you don't want it to. However, one thing that I liked about traditional belts is that you can use the buckle to hang on a hook. This belt is great if you are having weight fluctuations as in loosing weight. The buckle gets a bit of getting used to but is very efficient for cinching in but well worth the hassle of undoing when you you can tighten it quickly. Unfortunately after wearing it almost every day the material has started to split, the two layers coming apart mid way thru the belt. I debate buying another one because it has been less than a year. I may contact Kenneth Cole customer service to see what they could do or how to repair the belt. ... show more

Why anybody would ever want a classic buckle again after trying this is beyond my comprehension. Love this thing. Losing weight and it doesn't leave buckle creases in the belt. Even just from a daily wear perspective, it is efficient and simple to use. The quality of this feels slightly less than another Keneth Cole Reaction belt that I got from Macy's but still will buy more as it is still well made. ... show more

Title: Dangerous Piece of Junk - Do Not Buy! Review: I’ve never written a review this terrible before, but this belt earned it. I bought it thinking it would be convenient, stylish, maybe even a little more comfortable with that “ratchet” mechanism. Instead, it turned out to be a dangerous, poorly engineered disaster. First off, the locking mechanism is terrible. It got stuck so many times that adjusting it became a dreaded chore. I’d try to loosen it up, only for the release button to fail repeatedly. Eventually, the buckle just locked in place permanently, refusing to let go. After countless failed attempts to free myself from its grip, I realized there was no way out — I was trapped by my own belt. The only solution? Cutting it off with a knife. And that was no easy task! The leather, while absurdly thick and durable (I’ll give them that), was like trying to cut through armor. I ended up slicing my shirt, my pants, and, yes, even myself trying to hack through it. So while I have to give some backhanded compliments to the leather quality, that’s about the only good thing I can say. Bottom line: stay far, far away from this belt unless you want to experience being held hostage by your own clothing. ... show more

This is a well made belt, I bought it for my boyfriend, but the buckle is extremely hard to release..he loves the concept but they really need to work on an easier way to release the belt buckle, he was about to cut it off!!

This belt is beautiful. High quality, as you’d expect from KC. Good price on it too. It holds your pants up where you want them and does a great job because of the amount of holes it has. You can find the one that suits you and isn’t uncomfortable. It’s good for any occasion, but would be better suited for something semi formal or business casual. My friend ordered the same exact belt. He’s a bit bigger than me and it fit him just right, so I’m certain that if you order the right size, it’ll fit you just as well.
