Note about our pup and his condition prior to use of this product: Before trying this product, we took our very elderly (16 year old) dog to the vet for a wet cough, but even after antibiotics he still coughed and it got worse. Our dog also has heart problems and coughing and gagging are a symptom of that (his heart arrhythmia was confirmed by the vet to have gotten worse and we know we have maybe one more year with him). We actually thought he was dying yesterday and had this overnighted just to try something to give him some comfort. We gave him the first dose this morning and he has not coughed all day! He is still breathing heavy as he is extremely old with a failing heart, but no cough. Yesterday he could not get up and move without having a coughing fit. I was very skeptical of this as it lists herbs and honey as it’s ingredients and no actual medicine, but we tried it and could not be more pleased with the result. Some reviews on here say that their pups do not mind the taste but our dog does not like it. If your pup has a cough please consider trying this, I hope that you and your pet can get the feeling of relief that we are feeling today. ... show more

Piper had a deep hacking cough. She coughed hard all day long. On day one of taking this medicine she only coughed once. She still coughs every day... it's only once or twice. We highly recommend.

Over the past year, I’ve been struggling to find a way to soothe my dogs throat from hacking due to his bronchitis. The only thing that seemed to work other than mixing honey in his water bowl are these drops! These drops really do keep him from hacking up a storm! My dog seems more relaxed now with these drops! I usually just put the drops directly in his mouth for a better preformsnce since his case is severe. I highly recommend these drops! My dog was diagnosed with kennel cough and in an effort to find a natural remedy I bought this and administered it for two weeks consistently. While I noticed a subtle difference, I don’t know if it actually would have eliminated his coughing or discomfort. I ended up purchasing another product and that one was far more effective in resolving his kennel cough. You could have just been my pet, but truthfully I was not happy with this product and I would not recommend it. ... show more

    • Helped my older dog through kennel cough
My 12 year old dog contracted kennel cough and it was really hard on her. She is currently on her 3rd round of antibiotics, and still coughs occasionally. At its worst, she was coughing constantly, all day, all night. Poor girl was so tired and stressed. This product gave her enough relief to take a nap, which she really needed.
