I got this for my brother and sis-in-law to use with their dogs quite a long while ago and forgot to write a review about it; which is fine, because we’ve had a great few years with this amazing tool. When they first got their rescue pup, he struggled with severe separation anxiety and would tear up things if they stepped out even for a few minutes; they got a second rescue dog who helped abate this issue. So, to watch them while they go to dinner or the grocery store or a movie, they turn on the camera and tune in periodically to check on them. They (the humans and the dogs) love it! The second dog doesn’t like the treat shooting function, but that’s because he has severe anxiety around sound/sudden movement. Easy to setup, with an app that you can easily access and watch the dogs while out and about. The camera quality is quite clear, with the ability to turn the field of view to capture large rooms. There’s a feature to talk to the pets and throw treats their way. This is still going strong and used many times throughout the week.

I bought this camera so I could check in on my cat while I am at work. The camera works very well and it will notify and record your pet’s movements. It will even send you a daily video diary with clips of your pet’s movements. What I like is that storage of the videos is local so no need to pay monthly fees and no chance of storage hacks. Using the app, you can move the camera to pan from side to side. You can even schedule the days and times the camera is on. The treat function is great as it dispenses a few treats at a time (I loaded it with Greenies dental treats). It has not clogged up and will alert you when the treat storage is low. It will even play a quacking-like sound to alert your pet that treats are about to be delivered. You can even speak to your pet. Would highly recommend for those who want to keeps tabs on their pets.

Updated: customer service reached out to me to make it right long after the return window had closed and still wanted to try and fix the issues I was having with it. Hopefully once the product improves with the barking alert I can try it again. Team seems dedicated to improving the issues. Currently I use this just for motion tracking and use my furbo for bark alerts. after having this camera a few months. The barking alert hasent worked once. I know it’s not working since the furbo is catching it but this one isn’t alerting. It’s also miscategorizing events. If it videos her barking it doesn’t list it. Customer service is TERRIBLE. They rarely follow up and don’t say anything helpful. So there are perks to this camera compared to its competitor furbo. Which I also have. I was having some issues with my furbo since it’s now 7 years old and was looking for something else cause I want it for the barking alerts. I saw this one records and also sends alerts and also rotated which my furbo doesn’t (they make these now ) and doesn’t require any monthly fees for recordings. The camera records her movements during the day to check on her which I find helpful. But the worst part from my experience with this camera is that the barking alerts are delayed. We don’t get notified until after it’s happened which defeats the purpose we bought it for mostly. I have left my furbo plugged in during this time and my furbo is catching the barking within seconds of it starting while this camera isn’t notifying at all sometimes but is recording clips. If you want barking alerts on time from my experience this isn’t it but it does have some perks in other areas that furbo doesn’t offer for free. The customer support is difficult to deal with. They only reply to email around midnight my time and don’t seem to be able to offer assistance with alert delay issues. Furbos customer support is more available and easier to deal with in my experience. Since both offer something the other one is lacking I still use both of them but it would be nice if the interface for the camera could be updated to fix the alert delay issues then it would be ideal. Just today it also missed barking entirely with no recording of it but my furbo caught it in time and I was able to stop the barking fairly quickly.

I LOVE this pet camera. I have had many indoor cameras in the past, and nothing beats this one. The 360 degree view is amazing, the two-way audio is so convenient (especially when your pup might be doing something he KNOWS he isn’t supposed to), and obviously the treat dispenser is such a great feature to have. I think the treat aspect of this is a game changer, so you can still feel connected to your pets while they're away. I appreciate the fact that you don’t need a subscription whatsoever to operate all of the functions of the camera (some competitors do). Another very cute feature of this camera is the “pet diary.” During the day, the camera will take all of the recorded videos and compile them into a cute little video. Obviously its not necessary, its just super cute. I love how it tells you the storage level of the treats too. I could go on and on, but just know, this is the one!

I've purchased a couple of cameras from Eufy, the pet cam worked great for a year and then kept disconnecting, I was able to remove and readd the camera a few times, but this time the LED light won't even display. The camera is totally dead and I'm outside of the the warranty which is only good for 12 months. They offered me a 15% discount if I wanted to purchase a new one, but I'm not trying to spend $200ish for a camera that is broken in 18 months. Don't waste your money, it's not worth the cost.
