When we go out we can see our dogs, if they come into the kitchen where we put it, and we can have it throw them treats. And we can talk to them or call them over near the camera. The media could not be loaded. No subscription required (best part!!), amazing & best quality of video compared to other treat cameras, throws treats perfectly & u can decide how far u want to toss them, it seals the lid at top so treats don’t go stale (saw this is only brand that does that!!), and hold a butt load of treats! Only criticism is maybe it’s rather large and bulky not aesthetically pleasing to look at per se, but hey who cares when it’s literally the cheapest way to have a pet/treat throwing camera. Also, I’ve found these cams tend to last years, I got the latest version N140, I’d recommend making sure u get that one bc it has best video quality & rotations is 360degrees, all other cams seem to only rotate half that distance. Lastly, you can add 3x commands that u record of your voice so u don’t have to actually speak to your phone in front of people, u can just click the ‘Stop It Pup’ command, for example and it speaks my recording to my puppy when she’s trying to bite her way out of her new crate, camera says this for me… “EH! NO CHANEL, STOP BITING that cage! I wuv u wittle fur ball, lay down I’ll be home soon” and boom one click takes care of my new puppy. 🐶 it’s an amazing product & worth every penny. It’s a little pricier than the brands Amazon is trying to tell u to buy that r ‘best’ dog cams, however remember it’s worth it bc u don’t end up buying a subscription. I did all the homework & research for u people. Spent hours…so u can stop looking here, this is the best camera for throwing treats & best view & two way audio so u can speak to your pup while you’re away. *Daily Memory bonus part; each day it makes a 10second video with music for u, of your dogs day & it’s ADORABLE!!🥰 ***Amazon keeps promoting another brand, but they require u pay a subscription to see videos or to save any etc & the subscription price u see is a “starting at” number, so actually if u want decent storage you’re gonna pay twice that price at least, if u go w what Amazon is trying to sell u.

My cat loves treats so it is fun to toss him a few when we are not home. We were gone last week for a week and used it daily. He looks at it like he is totally confused on what is going on. But it serves its purpose, he eats the treats that get flung at him. They fly pretty fast through the air and sometimes hit him if he is too close. He has learned to stand back a little when we start talking to him. He's confused when he hears our voice. I will have to read if the speed of the treat going through the air can be reduced. Our voice is not real clear through the speaker. It comes out odd sounding. We get to see that he doing fine at home when we are gone.

I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to set up. I was away for a month and was able to see my cat and give her treats when I was missing her terribly. She would come running when she heard the treat dispenser! I had no problem with connectivity and could see clearly, even with night vision.

So many fun features. My dog is obsessed with this thing. He’ll sit and stare at it for an hour or longer sometimes just waiting patiently in case a treat gets thrown. The doggy diaries and selfies are priceless! We are in the process of tackling separation anxiety but this camera gives me so much peace of mind.

TL;DR I turned it off for privacy (via the app) and I caught it rotating on its own at night. This is the same reported issue as another 1 star review. Purchased this so I could launch treats at my cat when not at home. It has decent video quality and a satisfying mechanism for flinging treats (nice app interaction and the noise it makes when sending it is great). There is some noticeable latency in rotation control but nothing too egregious. The biggest problem is that it rotated on its own when supposedly off. I turned it off via the eufy pet app for privacy reasons. I noticed one day it seemed to have moved from the previous position (I pointed it towards the door and it was facing my computer). I thought it was my cat. Out of caution I tossed my baseball cap to cover the camera and went on with my life. A day later after a late night on the computer I heard a mechanical whirring and saw the camera rotating on its own! I went on the app and checked that it was still toggled as “off” but was unable to turn on the camera. It indicated it was “offline” but strangely I was able to send a restart command and it was working shortly afterwards. Either way, super sketchy on eufy. They have a bad rap already for poor encryption practices and this makes it worse. Edit: Noticed that rotates on its own at roughly 12:08 AM at midnight regularly. Once it finishes, it does not return to its starting position. Theres some posts on Reddit that say it’s a calibration procedure but I’m not convinced.

I'm glad I chose this pet camera over others. It was so easy to setup. Top selling points: - there's local storage, no need for a subscription - treat cover stays on. takes a good amount of force to remove, especially if your pet, like my cat is smart and destructive - video quality and night vision - very durable. considering what my cat has managed to do within couple days of ownership: chewed up the orange tab and power cord, knocked it down numerous times, and pawing at the dispenser. Don't hesitate. Trust me, it's a game changer to pet ownership. Wish I took the splurge from day one.
