I really enjoy playing with this camera with my dog. I was able to attach it to his collar and start a recording and let him run around. It's a lot of fun to watch the videos and see what he sees from his point of view running around the dog park or the house. You could also use it around your neck or a helmet if you are out jogging or snowboarding or something like that. I'll probably use it on my next snowboarding trip. The only thing you will need to buy to make it work is a micro SD card. Overall it's a great little camera system and all the accessories make it easily adaptable for many different uses. This product is NOT as advertised! It does NOT come with a silicone band!! ***Buyer BEWARE*** I bought this camera + the box of accessories for my cat. It came with 2, what looks like to be, normal dog collars. I ended up using my own cat collar + the clip that this product came with. I originally ordered the version of this camera that is supposed to attach to the collar via a silicone clip, but was sent the upgraded camera with a plastic clip instead. The camera is very cute, easy to use, and not too large, but is quite slippery and tends to fall off the clip very easily when it is slightly bumped. As a result, I ended up clipping it to the magnet clip (also included) and attaching it to my treat bag. However, the clip is not long enough and the entire camera + clip ended up sliding off twice during a walk (the first time after I accidentally bumped it with my hand when grabbing a treat and the second time while running with my dog) before I ended up taking it off altogether. The battery life is also not very long. My dog and I usually go on hour long walks and the camera already showed low battery at the end of the walk. Finally, the picture quality is subpar. There is obvious graininess. This didn't particularly bother me as the previously mentioned issues with falling off the clip and short battery life. I have a reactive dog and would like to record interactions in case we run into an unleashed dog, etc. However, it you are looking for a clear image, I would look elsewhere. Due to the frequency of the camera falling off the clip and short battery life I ended up returning it and ordering another camera that I am currently quite happy with. ... show more

This camera can be used for many things. It is very versatile. It is small and light weight. It comes with 2 different color types for your pet or an adjustable clip for other things. I tried mine on my cat but ultimately decided to use it on my car and the clip works great. all I had to do was buy a micro sd card and it was up and running right away. great picture for the price and I can even see it on the screen as it’s happening. Whelp i plugged it in to my elitebook to make sure it worked before i wrangled it on my cat. The camera app shows 720p To me it looks like the camera module is 720p and onboard encoder encodes the files to 1080p. Theres actually some logic there. Encoding at a higher resolution will prevent some quality loss with lossy codecs. Is it cinematography at its finest? heck no. But really it does what it says. I finagled the two neckbands they send into one larger one for my 15lb cat. Then i trimed the excess. If the neckband gets snagged it will pop right off if the cats strong enough or say dangling. So really these solution seems pretty safe to me ... show more
