I couldn't give the "Easy to Assemble" 5 stars because there simply was NO ASSEMBLY REQUIRED. That was exactly what we were looking for. We didn't want to build chairs! We've assembled internet-purchased chairs, and they were never right--never sturdy, and they didn't last long in our house. We wanted a beautiful, sturdy, modern looking chair, and that is exactly what we got. I still can't get over how beautiful they are, and all we had to do was order them! They arrived early in the most incredibly well packed sturdy boxes, each chair boxed separately. Every single inch of their beautiful real wood was wrapped tightly in bubble wrap and foam sheeting and secured with wide tape to prevent all the wrapping from slipping away from the wood. It took me almost 15 minutes just to remove it all. And these chairs are very ample in size. These are not puny little chairs. They are larger than we expected. We have a rather small dining area, and the table legs are adjusted to be lower than most dining tables as I'm rather short, so these chairs do not tuck under our table when not in use. The height of the tip of the arm that would normally slide under the table is 28.25" from the floor, and the bottom of our table is 26.25" from the floor. So, if you want them to fit under your table like normal, you'd better take that measurement. When we first got them unpacked and set around the table, I was worried about that, but the chairs are so beautiful we don't even care now. I wouldn't trade them for any other chairs. These chairs are by far the best internet furniture we've purchased, and since Sept 8, 2019, we've purchased a lot of internet furniture because that day we lost our entire house and everything in it to a wildfire that took out over 2,000 homes and businesses in our southern Oregon area. Every single item you need in a house had to be replace, and it happened during COVID, so you know exactly what that meant. This is the first time I've ever written a review of an Amazon purchase, but I thought that people need to know when there's actually a good product out there, and I want the company who made these chairs to be rewarded for the wonderful achievement of providing a beautiful, sturdy piece of furniture while keeping the price reasonable. What more can anyone expect of a purchase? UPDATE: First, my husband pointed out that we lost our house on 9-8-2020, not 2021. Second: We ordered another of this same chair. It was just delivered. It's perfect! Again, it arrived early, and this one was packed just as well if not more so. This company is amazing. How I wish they made a larger line of furniture. You can't go wrong with this Forsho chair.

As the reviews state, this chair does not disappoint. These are high quality chairs, we saw similar ones (which inspired the search on Amazon in the first place) at Design Within Reach that were $2,000 each. If you want to make a modern, elegant yet understated impression these are your chairs. They look especially good on our new light hardwood flooring. The arms on the chairs are useful for comfort...the seat is comfortable without being too soft....and - if you;re in a small space or apartment - the open back gives illusion of more space / less space being taken up by the chairs. Just a great item that prob sells in stores for far more under a different name. I imagine we're going straight to the manufacturer here. Don;t know - all I know is we love this chair. We got 4x for dining table.

I went on a search for black chairs on Amazon. I could not find anything that looked high-quality, modern, and that looked comfortable until I found these. They are absolutely perfect. They were packaged so well. Absolutely flawless. As you can see in the picture, the arms do not fit under the table, that is not a problem for me as I don’t mind having them outside the rim of the table. if you need to tuck your chairs under a table for space saving reasons- Be sure to measure the table height, and chair-arm height.

Beautiful chair and great quality. Sturdy, the leather is really nice, and I can’t say enough about them. We get complemented every time we have guests come over to eat at our dining room table. They are very sturdy and stylish. You definitely get what you pay for.

We needed chairs for our dining room table. We ordered one to start to see if we liked it before ordering the rest. The chair came well wrapped with no assembly required. The quality and finish of the wood was really nice. Unfortunately, the arms hit the apron on our table, so you can't pull them in close for eating or tucking them in when not in use. I checked a bunch of different dining tables and the arms would hit all of them. Too bad, because we really liked the quality and style. We'd buy a full set of 8 if they came with lower arms or no arms at all.
