I read that some people were dissatisfied that their floss was polyester and not cotton. Mine says 100% cotton on each skein and it is definitely cotton. It’s not quite DMC quality … it’s more like Anchor … but I needed a questionable color of blue for a counted cross stitch project and this selection gave me a great range of blues to choose from. I found the perfect color in this selection for my project so it was a good purchase for me. It provides great coverage when stitching 2 over 1 on 14 count or 18 count Aida so I’m sure the remaining colors will come in handy in the future. ... show more

I bought this to finish up a project my daughter started. She was given the pattern and floss but ran out of two shades of green and needed maybe 18 inches of two shades. I was hoping with all these shades that we'd get an exact match as I have no idea what brand or shade she was given. This pack had two shades that were close enough but not an exact match. Great colors, they are not as shiny as DMC thread. They are more of a flat color. I used clear waxing on the thread so the thread would go through the project easily. It is good quality thread and my project came out great. Love the color grouping from light pink to burgundy good price.

This thread is not living up to what my expectations were. First, it does not separate very easily. It tangles and knots as you’re pulling the strands apart. Second, as you’re sewing with it, it knots on itself and you have to stop and untangle it. Third it does not have a good hand feel to it. It tends to snag on your fingers. Fourth, it breaks really easily. You’re in the middle of sewing a line and all of a sudden half of your thread is missing off of your needle.I’m sorry to be so disappointed with it.
