This is significantly smaller than my previous Kenmore refrigerator. I wanted something smaller as the old one was too big for me now. This new one has smaller internal space, it lacks a meat and cheese drawer, the crisper drawers are much smaller, the ice maker is smaller and slower, and there is no light in the freezer. However, it's just the right size for me (family members moved out), and it seems very well constructed. I bought some led motion lights that are freezer safe, I got some baskets for meats and cheese, I added a shelf in the freezer for more space, and I am going to add a shelf next to the butter dish. All in all, I would definitely buy this again. I was very happy with my last Kenmore 20+ cu ft fridge. I am so far very happy with this one! ... show more

This refrigerator is wonderful! It is precisely what we were looking for, storage-wise, at a price point far lower than I expected to pay. The fridge works well, is solidly made, and looks much better than the fridge it replaced. Of equal importance is the delivery service, which was exceptional. They picked up our old fridge (stairs were no problem), delivered the new, set everything up, & then were politely and courteously on their way. It was an excellent experience. Given that the contract crew from Lowe's refused to pick up my boss's old fridge because they thought it was too dirty (outrageous, not to mention insulting!) & charged them for not doing the job (he was never able to recover the pick-up fee), I will be coming back to Amazon for any future major appliance purchases. ... show more

This has been working good, and I was tempted to rate it higher, but the bottom door has no floor clearance so it has hit my toes quite a few times when I wasn't paying attention and it hurt pretty bad. My family has also accidentally closed the door on their toes, so it's not just me. I like the LED lights on the inside, it gives it a nice aesthetic. We have it on the default settings and it keeps our foods adequately refrigerated. At times when it shuts down after running it rattles pretty loudly but other than that it runs pretty quietly. When it runs at times it sounds like it's making a bubbling sound. The trade off with the door having no floor clearance is that there is plenty of storage space in the door and the main compartments. Overall, we are happy and would have given it a full 5 star but the door closing on my toes has been pretty frustrating. ... show more

    • Unacceptable cooling performance

Bottom line up front: this refrigerator cannot keep the temperature within an acceptable range. The freezer works well but the fan doesn't send enough cold air to the refrigerator to maintain - or work back to - temperatures that will maintain your food. It may work fine if opening the refrigerator a few times per day, but 5 or more and it can't recover for hours. We gave it a week and couldn't trust it. The refrigerator would sit above 50 degrees F for 1-2 hours, and in the high 40s F for 8-10 hours. Very inconvenient. Outside of that, the refrigerator is quiet, looks good, and has usable interior dimensions that are standard for the size. It's unremarkable, as it should be! I just wish it could do the one job it was built for. It's getting returned. ... show more

I haven't used this refrigerator yet, so updates may come. But I particularly bought it for use in my Midwestern garage, as it is advertised as "garage ready." Imagine my surprise when, on opening the manual, it states that, "This refrigerator is designed for indoor household use only," and "This refrigerator is intended for use in a location where the temperature ranges from a minimum of 45 degrees F to a maximum of 110 degrees F." Only a small portion of the country has garages that maintain those temperatures, and my garage will get much colder than that in the winter. How dare Kenmore claim that this is a "garage ready" model, and the put those limits on the capability? This is false advertising at its worst, and I will likely be returning the unit. ... show more

We purchased this Kenmore refrigerator in white for our porch, and it’s been a great addition for our family. We needed a place to store drinks and snacks where the kids can easily grab what they want while playing outside. This fridge has plenty of space, which was just what we needed to clear out our main kitchen fridge. The shelves are spacious and adjustable, making it easy to keep everything organized. My favorite feature is the two crisper drawers with separate humidity controls. I can store fruits in one and veggies in the other, keeping everything fresh longer. It really helps cut down on waste and teaches the kids about healthy snacking. The Kenmore fridge is perfect for our needs. It’s roomy, efficient, and has helpful features that make it easy to use.
