I bought this for some of my jewelry needs in my pottery so far so good, easy to bend and of course it does change to the annealed look in the kiln. According to the directions in will go to cone 5, it does not say that on the bag...however I researched it on other ceramic/pottery websites, and glass fusing websites before I purchased it. I'm happy with it! Used for any projects that require wire support in the high temperatures of ceramic kilns such as jewelry and small armatures. This 24 gauge high temperature steel wire contains no nickel and can be fired up to cone 5. Approximately 10 ft. long. I bought this for kiln furniture which it said you could do in the description. But on package says not to use for furniture. Miss leading. The company was willing to take it back but I would have to pay shipping and don't know that I would get refunded on the shipping I already spend, which was about the same price as the wire it's self. Lost a star based on this, bad customer service. I think they should pay for it to be sent back because the description was wrong. So I just kept it. May use it some day. Could be fine stuff. Wire does great in bisque firing (cone 04), fails at high fire gas reduction/salt firing (cone 10) *IF* there is any glaze on it. So I'm being super careful with my next high firing and will update after October 29th.

I used the Kemper high temperature wire in my kiln to hang ornaments. It worked great. Did not break or stretch at all. Kiln was fired to around 2000 degrees.
