Quite a bit of assembly necessary with incomplete instructions. But for those with experience, relatively straightforward and hardware lined up well for the process. There is a plastic cap on the top of the hydraulic piston that needs to be removed, or final seating will be incomplete—had to test this as not a word about it included. The wood grain is an applied ‘wrap’ but expected that at this pricepoint. Nice upgrade over the wooden stools that were in use.

Nicely built, sturdy and easy assembly. I originally spotted these exact barstools in a retail furniture store, on sale for $150 each. Before buying, I decided to check on Amazon. I'm glad I did! They look great placed along my black granite bar. Great product at a great price!

For the price they can't be beat if this is in your wheelhouse of style! THEY'RE BEAUTIFUL! Initially, I was missing bolts and washers but contacted the seller and with expediency they sent a new package of bolts within a few days! Easy assembly but, if you have trouble getting the black caps off the compression lift, use a very sharp utility knife! Easy peasy. Customer service is TOP SHELF!

This stool looks quite good for the money and it feels sturdy. However, the base should really be weighted for added stability, especially considering the seat can raise quite high. So I personally wouldn't suggest using it in a commercial setting due to liability concerns. It's great for home/personal use, but I'd keep an eye on kiddos using this.

Love the chairs, look different than your regular chairs, and I like that. You have to get use to getting in them properly. They are beautiful. We got 6, 2 don't go down as far as we would like but with a call from the manufacturer, we will get them down the 2 inches they need to go.
