I've been off biking for two years because of some arthritic knee issues. And that after a 40 year history of biking a minimum of 100 miles per week. I began considering an e-Bike a few months ago. I am sorry I took so long to decide on which way to go. Not a real fan of cold winter riding, so currently I am planning on getting in as much Autumn riding as possible. That's how F-ing incredible this KBO Breeze is. It's big. Much bigger than I had imagined. The step thru version, what we used to call, girl's bikes, might be the way to go for those not as brutishly "rugged" as one of my stature. (5'11" 250LBS) (Though really, at 66, F-ing old and decrepit). I shopped a half dozen different brands and I know that I made the right choice. After the two weeks I've had this baby, I am more impressed each time I take it out for a spin. It does what you would want an e-Bike to do. And I haven't been able to kill this battery yet, either. (5, 10 and 25 mile rides) Quality In, Quality Out! So when I first got to take this baby out for a spin, I wasn't quite prepared for how much bike this really was. Best lesson learned: DO NOT turn the bike on until you are actually up and moving under your own pedal-power and control. Then you're good to go. Don't forget to turn the lights on, too. I've mostly used level three of the peddle assist modes, (1-5) but I've also played with level 5, too, as well as with the actual throttle built in to the handlebar. The bike, once turned on, starts at level 1. Level 3 keeps me cruising at about 15 mph as I pedal along. It's a beautiful thing. No stress on the knee at all. But I'm absolutely getting a workout! On price, I went the extra hundred bucks because I wanted the orange version. Very pretty bike with the black trim, battery and rack. The quality and value are extraordinary, and I look forward to riding the hell out of this thing until the snow stops me! Pros and cons. Very few cons, mostly all pros you've already read. Of the cons: 1)I run my tires at 51 psi, and they are rated to 55. But everytime I ride, they each lose 5 - 7 psi. 2) As previously mentioned, being old and decrepit, getting this thing out of the box and unwrapped before even being able to begin assembly, took almost an hour. Handlebars were easy, as were the pedals, but getting the front fender on, combined with having to "wire" (new version of connecting the light not shown in the assembly videos) the front headlight, was a challenge to say the least. Mechanically adept I am not, so I wouldn't place any blame whatsoever on KBO. They did a fantastic job of delivering a safely secured, quality product to my door. FedEx? Another story altogether! KBO bikes are what all e-Bikes should be. More than impressed. I'm telling everyone I meet how pleased I am with this "retirement gift" to myself. A++ dudes!

Nice looking bike with the right amount of pedal assist. Have put about 50 miles on it already and the battery seems to hold the charge well. Bought the adjustable stem which allowed easier reach of handlebar. The bike is heavy-65 lbs. I can not load into truck without assistance. Removing the battery 8-9lbs helps. One of the 2 bikes purchased arrived with a bent rotor. Getting a replacement part (from China) was a bit of an issue but it eventually arrived.

I must say there is nothing I don't like about this bike, easy to put together and rides like a dream. What I like most about it is it's a true step through, easy on and easy off. I also like the twist throttle. I would recommend this to anyone that wants a quality e-bike.

I was reluctant to make such a large purchase online, but it seemed like a good deal. A week after ordering, I received an email that the orange color I wanted was out of stock, but any color was available except pink and orange. I am still at a loss for what colors are available or how to contact KBO. While trying to contact KBO, my order was cancelled, and I am still waiting for a refund. My best advice is not to purchase from KBO and to buy from a brick-and-mortar store. UPDATE: Please tell KBO to stop contacting me and asking me to accept something different. I do not want an ebike different from what I ordered. As a company KBO have shown themselves to be untrustworthy and unreliable. I ordered and wanted an orange ebike. I do not want white so please stop asking. I has been four days since my order was cancelled and I want my money back.

Had an issue with a bad display when received. It took some effort to reach the correct department to get the problem resolved, but when I did connect with KBO Amazon they replaced the display promptly after I submitted a video showing the problem. Love the KBO Breeze for riding around my neighborhood. Very solid and a nice ride. I just purchased a KBO Tornado fat tire bike and enjoy riding it even more. I chose both in the step-over styles because I'm 5'6" with short legs and their sizing chart indicated they would fit someone 5'3'. Both bikes are just low enough for me to be able to stand over when I stop. Very happy with both purchases.
