I’m 5 foot nine and wear a size 14. I’m about 180 pounds give or take. I ordered the XL and it fit like it was tailor made for me. It has a slight amount of stretch and being so tall I was worried it wouldn’t come to my knee, but it comes just to the middle or lower part of my knee. It is perfect to wear with knee-high boots. It fits like a second skin, but not too tight. It just skim over the body and is a very nice material. Its quality made the sea actually match up to the plaid! Usually in a low priced product that doesn’t happen so you can tell they put a lot of effort into making this quality skirt.

So cute. True to fit. A light stretch at the waist giving you ease to move freely. Nice pattern and weight. Not see through, no slip needed.

Given the heavier weight of this fabric and the fact that this particular color/print is actually a woven fabric (not a graphic of a print on plain fabric), it is not the most comfortable against the skin and if you want to wear tights under it, which would be really conducive to the thickness of the fabric, you will have to wear a slip, otherwise it will grab and bunch as you walk. Measure yourself with a cloth tape and follow the size chart. If you are between sizes, the fabric does have some stretch and a snugger fit may smooth some figures. If you are older and/or heavy you WILL need a quality slip to make it look smooth and figure flattering. I am in this group at 52 and having had a child. If it had a better supportive waistband, and if it were lined, it would be 10 stars out of 5 because the color/print is 100% accurate and it looks lovely with a black, white, gray or red top and black accessories. It can be sheeked up.

This skirt came rolled up in a very small plastic bag. It didn't look great when I opened it. But it's a very nice skirt with a great cut when I put it on. It's an easy and comfortable one to wear. It's not a thick material, so despite the dark colors and pattern which would have been a perfect winter skirt, it's really best for fall.

I’m so happy with this pencil skirt. It’s a very comfortable, flattering fit. I can’t wait to wear it with a chunky sweater and boots this Fall and winter. If anything, it fits looser than I expected but still well enough to keep the size. I’ll likely buy it again in other colors.

the fabric was slippery, thin material and not stretchy at all and not an elastic waste band. Otherwise the skirt was nice enough but not what I expected. Also runs at least a size smaller than a usual XL. Probably a skirt more suited for summer.

I bought another Kate Kasin skirt a few years ago. It's lovely and has a nice, tailored look. But... The elastic at the waist on this skirt is ultra thin (unlike my other skirt that has a nice, wide elastic at the waist). This one feels cheap. It looks odd and frumpy and amateur. Come on Kate Kasin! The price for thicker elastic is pretty minuscule. It's the details that count....and, frankly, your quality has gone downhill. Unfortunately, I'm returning this skirt.
