Love it! Durable rod. Doesn’t tangle easy because the eyelets are designed to hug the rod closely. I would recommend this to novice anglers looking for their first upgraded rod. AWSOME ! I tried to find this rod on kastkings website said it was sold out, went on Amazon and found it in stock I ordered the rod and the royal pro spinning reel! I was watching reviews on YouTube and seeing everyone’s review about this rod and spinning reel combo and saw that it had great reviews, so I gave it a shot I ordered the combo and it’s by far the most amazing fishing pole I’ve ever had. It’s so light weight and the casting ability is just purely amazing such a good feeling especially when you don’t catch anything it’s just fun to throw your lure super far away! First of all I have many rods and reels from Kastking and love the quality. However if I didnt talk about the full experience it wouldnt be an honest review. When I order KK reels through amazon they are delivered when they say they will be delivered, however after 7+ rods thats another story. Most the time their rods are 1-2 day shipping with Prime, most recently one said 2 days, took a week, in the fear I wouldnt get it in time I ordered another type Kastking rod which stated 1 day and it took 3. I got the 2nd one first and was able to go on my short fishing trip. Now I have to return the one that was really late. This is the case on most KK rods ordered through amazon for me. Again I love their product just wish they were more realistic with delivery dates.

The chameleon color makes the rod look purple or blue depending on which way the light shines on it. It has the perfect balance between a strong stirdy back bone, while having just the right amount of flex for casting out far. I've caught several oversize redfish and black drum on it so and handed the fight and weight of the fish like a champ. Biggest black drum on this so far was about 49". It also has really good sensitivity for small fish and those sensitive bites you can sometimes get from slow eating and sketchy fish. Absolutely great value for the money. The guides are also very good. My only gripe about this rod is the plastic hook holder on the reel seat vs the normal wire hook holder attached into the rod, makes the hook slip out easy at times.

Awesome rod! I have the bladed jig caster and the finesse spinner and both are great rods. Love the color scheme and the action is great. Also great value for the price. Might get the heavy fast topwater rod in the near future, can't go wrong with these rods.

I am in LOVE with this rod. I have ADHD, so if one little thing is "off" about something I buy, it ends up hated and languishing in a dark closet somewhere. NO WAY. First, the color is drop-dead gorgeous. It's nicely balanced and lightweight. When you slide this thing together, it's NOT coming apart on you. Lots of guides result in a nice, smooth cast - into the next county. Seriously. Pair this with the right reel, and you can land a frog on the beach in Hawaii from San Francisco. Okay, maybe not that far. (Maybe halfway) It's got a sensitive enough tip that you can feel even the slightest thump on your lures, but has enough backbone to haul a Rottweiler through your second floor apartment window. (No, I didn't do it, nor do I recommend it. This will land you in a heap of trouble). Right now, I have a crappy reel on it and I still am in love. I have a good reel arriving tomorrow, and once I get that, I might never need to date again, this is all the love I'll ever need. Granted, I've only been using it a few days, so I might amend this glowing review. But so far, so good. So, so good...
