I got these for my husband who is a full time fishing guide. He has been a loyal Costa user for years. However, the ones he likes are usually $250-$300. Something always seems to happen to them like the nose piece starts to come loose or the rubber behind the ear cracks or comes loose, or a screw messes up and the legs won’t fold, etc. I asked my husband to let me order him some different glasses this time because I do a lot of research and found a lot of people love Kastking, and since they are only around $30, we really didn’t have anything to lose. To say he loves these would be an understatement. He loved the fit, said they felt better on than his Costas. They come around to the side and block the sun from peaking in. They fit snug but not too tight. He loved the functionality and how the polarized lenses brightened up the water and took off the glare. It’s especially helpful during spawn so he can see the fish on their beds. He said they were every bit as good as Costa. He then asked me to buy him 3 other pair in different colors as well as send some to a referral guide that works for our service. I ended up with about 5 pair of glasses for about half the price of one pair of Costas. He is extremely picky on sunglasses, so if he loves these and was willing to choose them over his Costas, trust me, they are a great sunglass and well worth the money.

Bought these mainly to use when sailing. I've only worn them twice so far, but they seem great. * Good, comfortable but secure fit on my normal sized head. I've never wished they were tighter or looser. * The polarization is great -- reduces glare from the water, but I can still read important things like my iPhone screen and digital instrument readouts. * Light reduction is a little stronger than what I believe is average. They're great on the water in bright sunlight. They would probably be great snow skiing on a sunny day, too. I have never wished they were darker. Although I haven't used them in cloudy or partly cloudy conditions yet, I suspect they might be too dark, but they might surprise me. * I can't say anything about scratch resistance or durability at this point. If I notice anything that isn't satisfactory, I will update this review. One thing bothers me a little: The description I read before buying them led me to believe that the blue mirrored lenses were neutral in color. Not so for me. The blue mirrored lenses I received give everything a definite brownish or light rose colored tint. That's not a deal breaker for me because the color does an excellent job of increasing contrast, and I think it might even make them work well on cloudy cloudy days. I quickly adjusted to the tint, and it doesn't bother me. I only point it out because it could be a deal breaker if color accuracy is important in your application. All in all, great quality for the price. I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better value in polarized sport sunglasses anywhere.

Sunglasses are usually hit or miss, either they are really terrible and mostly only look good but function poorly, or they are everything you wanted and worth every penny. These glasses fall almost somewhere in the middle but lean more towards the positive. The sun protection could be a little better but for the price you can't really find a better pair. It blocks the sun decently enough but if you have photophobia (sensitivity to light more than normal) then it's only going to be a partial gamechanger. I've got an issue with light sensitivity to the point that in normal light I tend to squint so much that it causes a pretty severe headache. I find these glasses to be sufficient enough to use while driving without detracting from my vision at all, but in direct sunlight or outside of a vehicle then they do not perform as well as I would like them to, but for the price I seriously doubt you can find a better pair. The frame and overall design is nothing really special but they are very lightweight and provide a nice, snug fit. The nose guard is a little bit uncomfortable and I find myself shifting them a lot up and down to provide a bit of relief. The glasses also have a decently snug fit around the side of the head and are decently comfortable on the ears. They do not slip or move around much at all when you're heavily sweating and seem to be good for any activity. The entire frame seems to hold up rather well against squishing, pressure, or any other form of physical abuse within the scope of normal use. Again, for the price, seriously doubt there is a better option. Lastly, as far as the lenses and their durability is concerned, it's satisfactory at most. They smudge extremely easily (I have the mirrored blue version) and look like require constant cleaning--which they do if you accidently touch them even briefly and lightly. I tend to take care of them more than I have other glasses in the past so I have not gotten any scratches on the lenses yet. For that, I recommend keeping them in the microfiber pouch that they come with at the very least, and then in the hard case they come with for extra protection when not in use. Even when I make every attempt to keep my possessions in good shape and take proper care of them, I often fail at this--these glasses are no exception to this and have held up better than I would have thought at this price point. As far as polarization is concerned they are pretty flawless. I can definitely see a lot more than I would be able to in non-polarized glasses, and even have better polarized lenses in glasses that are $100+ that I normally purchase and then quickly regret. If you've read this far then I'll keep it short for a quick end: these glasses provide far more value than you'd expect for the cost. I would buy these again without a moment's hesitation, and probably will do so when I lose or break these like I do every pair of sunglasses. I am not disappointed by these sunglasses even one tiny bit.

These glasses are awesome. I think they have the durability of Oakleys sports glasses, and the green copper lenses see straight into the water like Costas. For less than 1/4 of the cost. They are really light, but also amazingly durable. Some people say they feel cheap, well they obviously havnt tried to break these things yet. There is a rubber-type material on the pieces that contact your nose and above your ears. This means When I’m pedaling my kayak in 100 degree humid weather dripping in sweat, they dont slide down my nose like almost every other pair of sunglasses I own. The lens are beautiful, I got the copper green color lenses to sight fish and see down into the water on a sunny day. There is zero image distortion, the reflection off the water is all but gone, and everything just looks amazing. The lenses are not too dark nor are they too bright. They seem to be just perfect for a bright summer day, but even when its dark or getting overcast you can still see very well. The copper color base in the lenses seems to intensify everything, I can see very well when its darker out too. Its been a while since ive worn a pair of costas or oakleys, but as far as the image clarity, light reflection, polarization, and ability to see down into the water, These are just as good, if not better because they are a fraction of the price. Comes in a nice case with a clip on it, and in a protective lens cloth bag. Buy these glasses, im sure you wont be disappointed, you cant lose.

Let me preface my review by saying I have owned sunglasses of all types and price-points from a variety of manufacturers... After losing my last pair of expensive sunglasses (which were fine and lasted a long time after having the frames replaced under warranty), I've been trying to find a decent pair of polarized sport sunglasses for under $50. Unfortunately, everything I've tried recently has ether not fit (most are crooked), had poor lens clarity/polarization or faulty hardware. Therefore, I decided it was time to shop online and after scouring Amazon, I decided to go with these Kastkings because of the solid reviews, price and style. My first time wearing them was a 13 mile training run for a half-marathon and I was not disappointed. They fit my face very well in width and distance to my ears; however, the fit isn't perfect (explanation below). They are extremely lightweight and the initial lens clarity/polarization is as good as the $160 pair of Revo sunglasses I previously lost. The style is classy, with subtle logos and they seem well made and durable. I can't comment yet on the scratch resistance or longevity of the lens coating, but at first glance they both seem like they'll be fine with proper care. My only nitpick is that the deep contour of the nose bridge allows the bottom of the frames to contact my cheeks at times. That being said, they don't move around enough for that to be an irritation and it's too subjective to mark them down for. Overall, I'm very pleased and would recommend these to others as they are a great value and a quality product for the price.

These are some of the best "cheaper" sunglasses you can get. They fit nice and are not loose. The lens are great and the tint ( Silver Mirror) is perfect for everyday use. They wrap around your head and block out any side light from hitting your eyes.

The delivery and packaging were great. When I took the glasses out of the box I was immediately disappointment with the mirroring (or lack thereof) of the lenses. I ordered the orange mirrored lens on black frame. The mirroring on the lenses is extremely weak (more of a gloss). Nothing like advertised as hard mirrored and Unopaque. Your eyes will be visible to others when you wear them. I tried them on and the fit is great. They're very light and comfortable. Visually they are very clear and UV polarized. I would not trust to pull the frame apart without snapping it as shown in the video. And it didn't even come with a micro fiber lens cleaning cloth. I've never bought sunglasses that didn't come with a cleaning cloth so that seemed odd. My first impressions are unsatisfactory. I've decided to return them. I can get better quality for the same or better price point. 3.5 out of 5.

As an avid flats fisherman, being able to have a good set of optics to see what is going on in the water is paramount, but so is being able to wear those same sunglasses for everything else that I do - driving, gardening, sports, socializing, etc., and these sunglasses fulfill that requirement and more. I have an expensive pair of high-end sunglasses that the wife got me for a present, and frankly every time I wear them, there's always a lingering fear that I'm going to damage or lose them, which restricts when I will wear them. So, after a lot of research to try to find the holy grail of sunglasses - quality and performance without an inflated price tag - I bought a pair from KastKing. Somehow these folks have been able to come up with sunglasses that offer great performance, are extremely well built, comfortable, and don't break the bank - so much so that you can buy 5 pairs of these for the price of one pair of those high profit margin glasses that sponsored TV fishermen are always telling us we need! These things have it all: polarized lenses, impact resistant, lightweight, durable, and comfortable, and thanks to 100% blocking of the harmful UVA and UVB rays I should be at least seeing what I am not catching well into retirement. On top of that, they come with a convenient soft bag that can also be used for cleaning, a separate hard case for protection, and they are a company that stands firmly behind their product. I just wish I had found them earlier!
