  • Excellent Product & Customer Service!
Size: Sport Size
I initially bought this cover almost 2 years ago and really liked the product overall; however, the initial material over time began to easily tear. I contacted customer service and they immediately informed me they wanted to help me even though I was technically past the warranty period. I sent pictures of the various tears which were located mostly around the corners and edges. Melissa with Customer service informed me they are working on a new prototype with a ripstop material and she would like to offer that product as a replacement once it is in stock. I liked the first cover I purchased so I was happy to wait and I am so glad I did! The new ripstop material is much more durable and the dimensions are larger to allow for a secure fit without the corners ripping. Also, the next generation feels lighter than the initial cover although heavy enough to keep a secure, enclosed undercarriage. Overall, I am impressed with the updates made to the new cover and feel confident it will keep my '72 Mustang in great shape. I've only had the new cover on for a few weeks but I am happy with the excellent customer service and top quality product coverseal offers. I'll update this review if there are any concerns down the line; however, with this new material I feel confident in my assessment having used two different prototypes, this is a quality car cover and worth every penny!!! ... show more

  • This works and I highly recommend
Size: Suv/Jeep Size
Our last car had $5500 worth of damage from rats eating the wiring. We tried peppermint sprays, rat traps, rat bait all with varying degrees of success. They would work temporarily, but we live in a city and park in an alley and if you weren't vigilant about spraying the car frequently (basically a few times a week and after every use) the rats would come back and settle in. Hence the repair bill. Also, even if the rodents nest in the engine and don't cause damage, their droppings create a terrible smell once the engine heats up. With our new car we were looking for a more permanent solution that didn't involve moving and I think the CoverSeal cover is it. The materials are high quality, it feels durable, and the weighted bottom really does keep the cover flush to the ground. I was deeply skeptical of this at first and convinced that rats were getting in, so for the first 5 days I would climb under the cover and start the car to see if any scurried out. Nothing. We've had extended periods of high winds and the top of the cover flexes, but the bottom seal doesn't budge. This actually solves the problem of keeping them out entirely, which is more important than just preventing them from chewing wires. It's a bit pricier upfront than the other marketed solutions for this problem, but it's a one-time cost, gives you peace of mind, and is very obviously cheaper than if you have to get repairs. ... show more

  • Full size cover fit on my Lincoln Town Car just fine
Size: Full Size
Full size cover fit on my Lincohn Town Car just fine. Judging from my cover, it would also fit on a Cadillac or similar oversize cars. Putting it on is a workout due to the weight (40 pounds?) but taking it off is not because gravity helps. When I take it off, I let it fall on a tarp and then drag the tarp to where I want to stash it while I am away. It was extremely windy today. But nothing short of a hurricane will pull off the cover. I can't say anything about the durability yet since I just got it but I am going to take good care of it. I just shelled out $1,500 last months to replace hoses and wires chewed on by squirrels that set up house keeping in my engine compartment. $360 for the cover is a bargain compared to the cost for towing and cost of repair. I didn't use my car for two weeks since I am retired and that's all the time it took to turn my car into a paperweight. ... show more

  • Replacing 2-years later
Size: Mid Size
Car has been parked in covered carport. Rear of car is exposed to UV, which deteriorated cover, and wind tore it. Spent the money on this cover based on UV and wind protection claims. Now I am replacing cover again.

  • Will leave light scratches on your paint
Size: Suv/Jeep Size
I have only put the cover on and taken it off once so far. It has put small scratches all over the hood of my new Tesla. It is very difficult to lift the cover on and off the car by yourself and nearly impossible to do without dragging the heavy sand filled bottom tube across the paint leaving tiny scratches everywhere. I got the largest SUV size and have it over my Tesla Model 3 and it covers it all the way to the ground just fine and doesn't blow off in the wind so that part is great. I wouldn't use this cover on a regular basis but it can be good for leaving my car for months while I travel if I can get 1-2 other people to help me put it on and off and being careful of the paint. ... show more

  • Long skirt for your car
Size: Full Size
I've had this for a few weeks now and really feel good about it. I bought the large size for a full-size sedan, so I have a good piece on the ground all the way around the car. I feel confident it will keep rodents from getting in to chew on engine parts and it definitely keeps the rain and leaves off the car. It took some strong, gusty winds with any trouble. When temps dropped, I placed a small fan heater under the engine and the tent effect kept everything from freezing. Size and weight make it a bit of a chore to remove and put back, but not a huge problem. Done in about 2 mins. It is still fairly new and leaves a powdery residue on the paint. I expect this to stop after some usage. ... show more

  • Accomplishes the goal
Size: Full Size
This seems to be the only cover of its kind that will protect your car from rodent issues. That is the primary purpose of our purchase as we've been having lots of damage from rodents. It's a little heavy to get on and off but that's kind of necessary to accomplish what it's supposed to do and keep the cover from moving or flying off. We had a very wind heavy storm recently and the cover stayed on through the night. Once we have a strategy for getting on and off I'm sure it will be easy enough. As with anything else, I wish it was cheaper but I think you get what you pay for. ... show more
