This outdoor plug has been exactly what I needed. I use it to control my outdoor pond's fountain and de-icer. Both are plugged into this dual outlet. I have been using it for a year now and it's been working perfectly. It has the ability to set a timer or schedule when to turn on/off. You can do everything through the app. The cool part is that each outlet acts as a separate plug. So you can control each outlet independently of the other. It has been outdoor in cold winter and during some of the craziest rainstorms and it has protected my connections like a charm. I love this and I'm actually buying a second one to control my outdoor heater and bug zapper. I might even buy a couple more for my holiday lights. Keep in mind it needs connection to wifi so make sure you have wifi signal wherever you plan to plug it in. Bonus: If you are part of the OHMConnect program, you get double points because they consider it as two separate plugs, which it is. I am using this to remotely turn on/off a 1HP above ground pool pump using either the Kasa app, Google Assistant voice command, or Google Home app. It has functioned well all summer. In the winter, I also plug in a heated pet bowl with water for some feral cats I take care of. I was able to remotely turn on my pool pump when away from home, and set the timer in the Kasa app for a specified time limit. Also, using the Kasa app I have it default to turn off at 2:58 pm every weekday, in case it was running, to avoid a hither electric rate that would kick in at 3:00 pm in my area.

I purchased two of the Kasa Outdoor Smart Plugs and they are great. We beefed up our Halloween decorations this year by adding more lights. I wanted the different sets up lights to operate at the same time on a schedule. The Kasa app made it easy to set up the smart plugs and then create the schedule for each unit. Both are outside and have been operating perfectly. I highly recommend.

I wanted an outlet for an outdoor fan I use to prevent heat soak within my cars engine bay. I didn’t want the fan running all night when I parked my car so instead of being smart and going out to turn the fan off after a couple hours of running I decided to be lazy and buy a plug to do it for me :). Probably one of the best quality of life products I have bought in a while. App works fantastic and I have it on a program to turn off the fan after 3 hours of it running. Works perfectly and stands up to the 100f Houston weather. I consider a must buy!

Ugh I can't explain how much I love this thing! Extremely easy to install. You just connect it to your wifi and plug in. You can turn it on and off using your phone or set up a schedule (which is what I do). I no longer have to worry about unplugging the holiday lights outside late at night anymore. Highly recommend

This works great if you have a signal close by. It works great with Alexa, and the Kasa app and pretty easy to set up. I had to move a Wi-Fi extender to that side of the house because I have old school stucco and acts as a faraday cage with the wire mesh support.

Fabulous! It saves me from formerly-frequent waterfall pump replacements that have been courtesy of marauding raccoons at night. It's set to shut off at dusk. In the morning, I turn on while watching it from indoors to be sure it's functioning properly.
