This light works, and works well considering what you get for under $40! Construction is a cheaper material, yes. But I think it looks ok. The light looks good too and I appreciate having color temperature options to choose from. The single button for power and color temperatures is inconvenient, but for the price, it’s hard to complain. This isn’t a fixture I’d necessarily “show off” and decided to use it as accent lighting on a top bookshelf, where being able to angle this was very helpful. For an economical option that has decent lighting, this could be the one.

When I saw this wall light, I really saw good use for it in the home where there is low lighting when I have other lights on, particularly in the Livingroom. This wall light works quite well in other areas other than the bathroom. I noticed most of the displays advertised show the lights angle downward. I found that they look quite well angled upward to produce a nice lighting effect. Now to the 3-star rating. Although the flexibility of each lighting arm conveniently moves to various angles, the separation on the base should be a bit farther apart so they won't touch. The unit would be better if the light did not consecutively change the 3 light settings each time it is turned off and on. An independent button separate from the power button would be a better design. I would have also like to see the button control more centered just for the reason some users may want the light angled upward. Finally, the product was a bit skimpy on the electrical supply and prepared wiring for an average person. No wire nuts and the wires were not skinned enough. However, I have done electrical stuff for years, so this was not a big deal for me. Overall, I still like this product for the beautiful lighting it emits. And it works well for my use of it.

While this sconce is nice and modern looking and adds a decent amount of coverage in the 3 settings that it has it requires that you turn the light off and on repeatedly to change the light setting which may possibly lead to the on off switch wearing out quicker than one would like. My home is well over a century old and the wall sconces do not operate off of fixed switches so that requires that the ones for our home come with on/off switches built in and having to press the on off switch every time my son wants to use this light is a potential for quicker failure. This light does not come one with the memory of the last setting and therefore must be turned off and on a couple of times to cycle back to your favorite setting. This is a major setback for an otherwise simple light that takes a couple of minutes to install. Rating with be higher if it had a separate setting switch or remained on the current setting when turning it back on but sadly neither are available with this. It’s still a nice light but something to consider when looking for a wall sconce.

I needed a wall lamp to give a touch of light in a corridor and this item caught my attention. Installation was simple with the hardware provided although I needed to expose the wires a little more (should have been done at the assembly line). I position the light pointing downward but noticed that at some point the base of the arms touched each other so be careful when doing that as you may scratch the finish. The lamp provides 3 different intensities and I like the cool white that matches the rest of the lights at home; one issue though is that I need to cycle through the different settings to get to the color I want. I like the quality and simplicity of the lamp, but the design should be revisited to allow the color to be selected and memorized independently from the on/off switch.

This fixture is described as a "Vanity Light." Common definition of a Vanity Light: “Vanity lights are a particular subset of lighting fixtures designed to be mounted above the bathroom vanity. The vanity area is typically comprised of a vanity sink, countertop and vanity mirror.” None of the illustrations presented with the description of this light show that it is to be used as a vanity light. I do not believe this light would be suitable for this purpose. I planned to use it to light the wall behind my desk. When you look at the Technical Details section for this light it lists the Room Type as: Bedroom, Living Room, Hallway. I believe these rooms would be more appropriate for this fixture. The other problem with the Technical Description is that it states that the Power Source is “Corded Electric”. I am enclosing the picture of this light to show that this fixture needs to be hard wired. I wanted a fixture with a cord that would plug into an electrical outlet. I don’t know how much time it will take to convert this fixture into a corded light. When I figure that out I will update this review.

I didn't realize you had to hard wire this rather than just plug something in. That's a little outside my range of experience/confidence, so I haven't tried it yet. It might be a really great light but mine is still sitting in the box till I find someone with electrician experience to install it...

I loved the idea of the halves of the light being moveable, and that they could be angled up or down. That's fine. The considerations include the small, round base of the light won't cover a standard electrical box, so you'd need to find a base to cover the box. But the deal breaker for me was that the color temperature changes with every use, and that's the only way to make it my preferred warmer shade. If I don't want to see the blue light, I have to turn the light off, and turn it on again, which is a bit silly. It's a creative design, which I appreciate, but it was a no-go for me.
