We live in central Arkansas, so we don’t need to bundle up for extreme cold. This coat is perfect for our weather here, with the exception of the once-every-few-years below-zero temp. I’m 5’8” and 185#, and the Large was a good fit.

This is a good looking trench coat. It arrived compressed in vacuum sealed packaging. The jacket was very creased upon unpacking. I haven't yet been successful in removing the creases. I purchased the black version in a large for my 6' 2" lanky son, who is a bit longer in the arms than average. I was concerned that the large size wouldn't give him the needed sleeve length, which turned out not to be an issue. The material is on the thin side and has the appearance of wool. Since we live in sunny SoCal, he'll be wearing this more for look than warmth. This isn't an expensive looking trench coat, but it gives one that trendy look. If we can figure out how to get the creases out, I'm sure he will get some good use from this coat. Overall, it's a decent trenchcoat and could help one achieve "that look" without adding a lot of extra bulk. ... show more

This coat comes folded and the had wrinkles are kind of a chore to get out. But that aside, I love the styling and the versatility. Pockets are deep, buttons are well-sewn and it has the feel of a more-expensive cashmere garment. You can definitely look "5th Avenue" without breaking the bank. It is a little thinner than some of the more expensive wool coats I own, but not necessarily a bad thing as I envision wearing more as a blazer than a top coat. I only bring it up because a trained eye could tell that this is a cheaper garment, in close proximity. So if you're trying to put on a front for your fufu friends, this ain't the one. But if you're confident in your swag and don't feel like you have to spend a million to look like a million, you can't go wrong with this stylish coat.....after you get those damned wrinkles/creases out! For real, the wrinkles are why it only got 4 stars. ... show more

When the pea coat arrived, it was well packaged in plastic and bubble wrap. When I took it out of the package, I saw that it was wrinkled but it was easy to iron, and all of the folds came out easily. It comes with a belt which really helps everything to stay in place when moving around. The coat is is thick enough to keep you warm on a cold day, and the material is easy to clean. You can wear this with a sweater for a casual look, or with a suit for a more formal occassion. This is a really good buy to add to your jacket collection, especially for the price! ... show more

    • Really sharp mid weight coat
I really like this coat as it is well made, looks great and is very comfortable. Made from polyester, it has the look of wool! I have the black and it goes well as a mid weight over a suit or dress wear. The buttons are large, the seams well made. It does come vacuum packed, thus wrinkled when it arrives. I had to fluff it up in the dryer and iron out the wrinkles before wearing. Nice design but also order up a size if you plan to wear a suit underneath. I wear a large men's shirt, so I ordered an XL which fit perfectly. Kudos to the manufacturer and Amazon for a good find! ... show more

I know it's right around $50 but I expected more considering it's just polyester and not the high dollar wool or camel hair or your name brand coats like this. The material comes looking like landscaping felt that you put in your flower garden. There's a huge hole in the pocket as it sits in the box having never been worn yet just waiting on me. The other pocket feels like it will open up another hole soon as the stitching is just plain poorly done. And if this ever faces a rain shower I can only imagine that it is going to suck all that water up and soon weigh a ton while keeping me nothing but wet as the material has no density and is thin. I ordered for my husband who has a very muscular build and typically wears a 2XL. As far as sizing, the 2XL is TTS and fits as expected. I am not the biggest fan of the material, the inside is soft but the outer material feels has a very cheap felt-like feel to it and makes a bit of noise while being worn.
