Ok, so I have a very old Doberman who is rickety and crooked with age but still thinks he’s young. I try to give him every advantage. I read that a lot of processed dog foods are difficult for dogs to digest and thus get the full nutritional value. I can’t afford a raw food diet. I also feed him Aller-Immune Bites. Anyway, to the point. His movement has improved, his coat is now shiny. But the most noticeable thing I found was...he has a tendency to drink too much water after playing outside and it would cause him to vomit. Before the vomit would include a great amount of undigested kibble. But, now, I noticed that on the rare occasions that he does vomit from over drinking, it’s mostly just water. No more undigested food. Yay! I started this food and the Aller-Immune bites around the same time, so I’m not sure which is actually doing it, but the combo works for us. ... show more

We have had our dogs on this food since our vet recommended it 2 years ago and always ordered from Amazon. The dogs have always loved this food! However we will no longer be ordering it from Amazon. I just found little black bugs as well as worms in my most recent bag of food. Please please please check your food and if you see any chicken bits with white on them, do not feed to your dog! I included a pic with this review. The eggs seem to be buried in the pieces with white. We are now waiting for testing results from the vet to make sure our fur baby is ok! ... show more

This is a must have a formula for your senior breeds I have a nine year old German shepherd mix that was finding it hard to get around after three weeks on this formula I have seen improvements she seems to love the small bite-size pellets and it makes her happy so that makes me very happy ... show more

Since the additional government funding has kept on keeping on (Thanks President Biden!), it has allowed our continued extended and totally optional unemployment holiday! Due to the surge in our income, we've been able to upgrade to the Purina Pro Plan for our 3 dogs! We weren't able to afford it for them before we decided to not work anymore, since working is for suckers. The dogs love this stuff and now that the government pays us 40% more to "not work" as opposed to what we made while working, we've been able to upgrade our, and our pooches I might add, lifestyles immensely! We're even taking them on vacation with us when we fly down to the Keys for the next month! We love Joe Biden and his trillions! ... show more

I have been giving my zoo (4 Goldens) another (much more expensive) brand. Two of my 4 didn't really like it and I had to mix in Bil-jack to get them to eat it. They ran out of their normal feed so I ordered a bag of this. OMG... the dogs LOVE this food. No more having to mix in stuff to bribe them to eat. I checked with my vet and she this is probably one of the best feeds we can give the dogs... SOLD! ... show more

My large mixed breed was 98 pounds in his prime but i started noticing that he was losing a lot of weight. I changed food several times and even though he ate it all he was still losing wait. I could see in his eyes he was on his way out. The vet gave him shoots and me pills to give him but the answer was that he is a large 13 year old dog and even talked about putting him down, which I will not allow. After reading some articles on senior dogs I switched to Purina Pro Plan Senior and I swear to God with in a week he started gaining weight and was back to trying to chase the ducks. He is still 13 but this feed has improved his quality of life and i truly believe has given him more time with the family. thank you Purina. ... show more

Our dog is getting pretty old and is much less active than he was in the past. We previously fed him Pro Plan (with high protein) and were a bit nervous about changing his food since he has a sensitive tummy. The transition was great and he hasn’t been sick once.
