I have had a few canopies of this style over the years. I have always managed to get them set up on my own, Same holds true for this. May feel a little awkward, and is likely easier with a second person, but it is doable going at it solo. It does not feel cheap, or rather it doesnt feel cheaper than any other I have had. The brand I had last year was decimated in an unexpected severe windstorm. So while I was happy with my old one, I shopped around for a better price. I also wanted a vented option. I recalled that my old one was not vented and it made a difference in how the area under canopy felt. The addition of the vent allows hot air to escape. Probably helps with windage too. OH< and I also wanted slightly bigger and my reason will be mentioned here: My old one was 8' x 8'. Seems like plenty of coverage for casual use outside for a little shade. I have a small square table and a couple of chairs. The widith of the 8' covered this, but the chairs hung out a little, making it useless as full cover. SO I went with 10'. Now I can have same table and chairs underneath and I am fully covered. Personally I would consider a 12' x 12' if I had a bigger table, or if I wanted a couple more chairs underneath. I chose this one because it had features I was looking for at a price point I found reasonable. I saw some that were cheaper, but they looked cheaper. I wanted something that seems like it can handle being set up for the summer. So far so good with this one. Leg height is adjustable (there are 3 holes, just press the pin to lock into height you want), and can be lowered further for windy days. Not sure if it is waterproof. Havent been out in it while it has rained. Will update once I know for sure. Canopy has guylines, and there are LARGE sandbags included. I filled those with sand (we have sandy soil). They are the largest bags I have ever had for a canopy. They should help a lot! Includes a carrying bag with wheels. Cant think of what else to say at this time. I will know more as I use it more. I will update as I learn more. And definitely will come back to update if this thing fails me. But so far so good. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I played golf for over 20 years and my son started getting into golf along with my wife so I got this to give lessons and to practice myself because I hate going to the driving range. I would rather go out to the field to play golf than to go to the range but I do need a way to get warmed up and practice swings before the game so this worked out perfectly. It came inside a nice storage bag with 2 sturdy handles on each side for carrying but it also has 2 wheels so you can wheel it if needed. I was able to set it up by myself the very first time but it was challenging because of the part where I had to extend the canopy frames while lifting the top frames. It's so much easier to set up by 2 or more people since 2 people can hold the canopy frame on opposite end and pull it out while raising the frame. This step is no different than setting up a canopy, which brings to the point that this can be used as a standalone canopy, hence 2 in 1. Although it came with pictured setup instruction, setting up the golf net inside the canopy was confusing at first but once I figured it out, it was very quick and easy from 2nd time onwards. TIP: Look for 4 bright orange covered hooks and they should be first hooked onto each of the top corner taps. Once they are hooked on top corners, you can then hook the gray covered hooks on to the hole on the bottom of the canopy frame near the base. These 8 hooks will provide good structure to the net and you can then snap on the plastic hooks on to the frame then snap in the buckles onto each pole. At first, I was worried because the canopy has many aluminum frames on the ceiling and if the golf ball hits the frame, it can bounce back anywhere very hard. Luckily, the golf net not only covers the 3 sides but also the ceiling with enough tension where golf ball will immediately drop down once it hits the net. I was very impressed with this canopy for golf swing practice, especially the sloped design to roll down the golf balls for easy retrieval. There's also pocket nets on both ends to catch the golf balls, which is a nice touch. I only wish that it also came with a hitting mat because the grass and dirt got inside the canopy when I practiced my irons. I guess this is not a big issue if you are practicing the driver off the tea but I would recommend that you get a hitting mat or a piece of carpet to put the ball on so the grass and dirt doesn't get inside the net. Overall, excellent unit for practicing your golf swings without having to go to the driving range and it can also be used as a canopy to provide shade from the sun. Highly recommend it. ... show more

This is a good product do not get me wrong. The biggest problem with this is if you get the 8x8 the actual ball net is designed for the 10x10. What this means is the ball return feature does not work in the 8x8 because it is not tight enough to do so. There is so much slack that there is no built in ramp. The top of the ball catcher will not stop it from hitting the poles thats part of the pop up canopy. I even hit balls through the top part up into the canopy, that's how much slack there is. They really should have a smaller ball catch for the 8x8 as it works but you loose features because of so much slack. Update. Well the net broke. The seam that connects the cover to the mesh netting started to rip. Now I have a hole in the back where nifty the flight of the ball is just right it flies right through with nothing to stop it. Luckily for me it's aimed at woods. Again I have the 8x8. I would believe the netting would sit higher on the 10x10 where it wouldn't impact that area and cause much stress on it to rip. One thing that won't matter is the clips for thebtarget. They will break if it. I broke 2 of them. ... show more

I took this canopy to the beach on what turned out to be quite a windy day. My friend did not take his canopy because he had no way of securing the legs, but this product came with sandbags that could be secured onto each of the legs. Despite the strong winds at the beach, it held up really well.

Fear not when you’re trying to decide to buy these or not. They’re easy to set up and very well made. I’ve purchased other tents before and these blow the others away. Took us about ten minutes to set up and walk away. Nice storage and carry bag. Definitely will be using again.
