This replacement canopy cover is the best one I’ve tried so far. It’s lighter weight, but is waterproof and has the silver colored inner layer to help block the heat of the sun better too. It also comes with the cords already attached to the corners to help anchor the whole thing and prevent it from blowing away. Other replacement covers I’ve tried have the holes for the chords, but you have to keep reusing the same chord. The chords have held up well, but have gotten stiff and increasingly difficult to work with as they’re exposed to the elements (dirt, sun, rain). It was nice to have the new chords to really replace the entire cover.

We sell bi-weekly at a farmers market, and our awing has been used for three seasons. Over the years it was starting to develop holes, and was wearing out a bit from the wind whipping it against the supports in the corners. The original cover was very thin, and when I opened this one, I could immediately tell it was made of a much better fabric. The weight is probably double of the original, and the stitching looks very rugged. I'm guessing this one will last twice as long as the original one. It also looks great, and should block more light from coming through the top of our tent. If you have a 10' straight leg canopy or wedding type tent, this is a great replacement cover. I'm very happy to have the replacement installed and ready to get us through a lot more market days.

Update: I ordered a replacement thinking I may have gotten a bad canopy. The second is also 9' 7" and not 10' so it will not work. Buyer beware. My frame is 10x10 exactly and I didn't think to measure this top. Our top had seen too much use but the canopy frame still worked well. I got this and attempted to put it on, immediately noticed bowing everywhere when attempting to open it fully. I then measured and found that it's under 10' long on the sides, closer to 9.5'. Resulted in a damaged frame. Buyer beware.

During our last camping adventure last Fall, I noticed that my gazebo cover had developed some thin spots and had a few places that started to ooze water during downpours. This new cover will fit my gazebo frame perfectly. It feels thinner than my original cover... thus, the one star reduction. However, after having a chance to camp with it, should it prove to be of great quality, I may add the 5th star.

This fits our CROWN SHADES canopy frame better than the original Golden Bear canopy frame: Velcro fasteners are embedded with reinforced fabric panels at the top of the canopy for better force dispersion, allowing for longer wear. The top vent is key - it helps mitigate rising winds and reduces stress on the frame; it no longer tries to "walk" in the breeze. Definitely a good purchase! The CROWN SHADES's top is thin and wears out quickly from the sun's UV rays, has no vents and will tear to shreds after a few months. GREAT!

Tried many alternatives to the ill-fitting/leaking Everbilt (Home Depot) 10x10 canopy tent with its one-touch push-up mechanism located at the top of the tent. This fits perfectly, maybe better than the original. Thicker and stronger than the original.

My old canopy has holds in it and I didn’t think I can replace the top only. This is great for the environment. The cover is thick and it didn’t take a long to install as it fit perfectly on our canopy. My old canopy is white but I didn’t see a white color and got a dark grey. Hope it won’t absorb heat when we use it.
