Update 10/6/2020 I still like the case, it is pretty and high quality, but it isn't for me. I've gone with a cheaper case that has more structure near the screen as a few drops came perilously close to doing mine in. It could have been perfect, but not quite. -------- Shortly after ordering my new phone, I waited with baited breath. I had delayed in getting the Note 10, waiting for something else and finally decided to take the plunge before the value of my 9 dropped any further. I was pre-ordered for an Ultra and preordained and whatever else while I watched my porch for predetermined buds and a case. So imagine my surprise when the phone arrived by itself. To its credit, Samsung hadn't even bothered to include either of my credited items in my new receipt, so I could wait for the code for credit to come in the next 35 days... Without a case. Which wasn't going to work for me. Honestly I drop everything. If I had a cannister of a vaccine or a one of a kind miniature that I wouldn't find in pieces on the floor, I'll show you someone who engineered something me-proof. And I'm also one of those folks who stares at reviews without ordering something for a bit too long. I just needed a case that would hold the phone, I told myself. I could ignore the reviews. Quite a few contenders vied for my shopping cart. Some from companies I knew well, others who appeared on lists of nice cases from various review websites. The more I looked at them, the more I noticed that the reviews generally just restated the description, perhaps with a word here or there paraphrased. Some promised that people could see their phone in 'full HD' (congratulations?) , published days or weeks before the phone's release. One or two fake reviews is one thing, over 50 starts to make you wonder if the bots who write them are laughing at you behind your back. UAG was a well reviewed company, but at the time I ordered it, this case had none of them. This left me with that kind of gnawing, mindless anxiety/neurosis that comes from throwing down $60 for something that I'd resolved to get for $20. I just wanted something my phone could survive inside of for more than the one day and 33 drops later. So I got the case today and was initially skeptical. It was pretty, but not quite as protective of the screen as I'd hoped, as I can see the curve sneaking around the edges. The case itself is solidly constructed. The real test will come with time and whenever my phone encounters a jagged cliff or a rock that bursts out of my floor and into my screen after fumbling for it and almost catching it on the third try. So I'll promise you this, there will be an update after the first fall. I'll keep my fingers crossed that this phone will still be in enough working order to write the review. Help me keep this promise, UAG. Please. Update #1: It Begins One day after getting my case, the dropping began. First it was a stray pocket in a bathrobe, then it became the bulk of the phone itself. However it ended up on the floor, three for three, the phone is fine. The case undamaged. I'm still worried about the screen, because with enough time it will be crunched and consumed like celery stalks in the human mouth, likely also accompanied by peanut butter, because such is my lot. I still value the case very much at this point, as I discovered today that my phone protection plan is still on my last one...more to revealed. ... show more

The UAG Plyo case is by far the best clear soft case you can get for the Note 20 Ultra. I would have thought that case maker would try to make the back side flush when sitting on table. But no, most case makers just change the size of their case to fit the note 20 Ultra but the camera hump would still cause the phone to rock like crazy when resting the back against the table. For note 20 Ultra, some manufacturers make their cases super thick so that the back is as thick as the camera hump to make it flush on the back. For slim design cases, they will just protect the note 20 camera hump and let the back of the case rock on the table like crazy. A simple yet effective solution is to have a little raised lip on each of the 4 corners which is as high as the camera hump. This way, the phone sits flush on its back without having a super thick case. This is exactly what UAG Plyo has and it works beautifully. Even my old favorite brand Tech21 does not seem to fix this rocking issue for their note 20 Ultra case. So UAG Plyo is the clear winner here. Also, the caseโ€™s two sides are slightly curved inwards , this subtle curves show that they really put efforts in their design. It makes the hand grip more comfortable. UAG making a unique design for each phone modelโ€™s Plyo case really sets it apart from other case manufacturers. The exterior of the back side has a little dotted texture which enhances the grip and reduce fingerprints. Overall, the UAG Plyo case gives great looks and feels very protective. One big bonus is that this case works great with DJI Osmo Mobile 3โ€™s clamp. All my other note 20 Ultra caseโ€™s rims are too thick so the OM3 clamp cannot securely hold the case with the phone, only Uag Plyo works. And it does not push the power button when phone is balanced and clamped with the case on. Here are a few pictures showing OM3 can firmly grip the Note 20 Ultra with the PLYO case. The only 2 cons are, the width is a bit wider than other cases( may be it is for the protection) and the price. The only question left its durability, but only time will tell. ... show more
