Very bright with great controls for color and brightness. From a distance, the plastic diffuser does not look bad at all. Up close, I was a bit concerned about this. It was very easy to wire in and get working and for the money I think it is a decent purchase.

2 pack 16” black trim lights up and working. My box had been opened and not boxed back correctly but nothing seemed damaged. Appeared someone had pulled out one, assembled it and returned. No AAA batteries for remote but description doesn’t say they are included that I could find. Just be aware you will want 2 AAA batteries at least. One remote works for both lights but you get 2 remotes. Overall build is inexpensive but once it is up it looks fine. At under $100 for 2 you kind of asking for thin metal and plastic. Everything worked and you can change brightness and light color on the fly with the remote. My wife liked them and that is what mattered. They are bright at 100% but she is solar powered and that is how she likes it. If too bright then grab the remote and switch to your hearts content. Remote has basic choice buttons like 20/50/100 on brightness and 3 color choice buttons of 3k, 4k, and 5k (or so it looks to me) but you can also make incremental changes for frequency and lumen levels. If you can’t find something that works for you I don’t know what to say. Only thing I can’t speak to yet is how long they will last but at this point I am pleased. These lights are awesome! They have several different features/settings, giving off multiple lighting looks. The lights are bright and work great in the kitchen where adequate lighting is important. They also look nice and are a great update! The pricing cannot be beat!
