This is a good gun safe for the price. It keeps my guns safe from prying hands or accidents. It holds about 10–12 rifles and has a small lockbox for pistols, ammo or other items. The keypad is easy to use, and it comes with backup keys. Inside, there’s a shelf and a light that turns on when you open it. It’s not super heavy or fireproof, but it’s great for keeping guns safe at home. Setup takes a little time, but overall, it works well and feels sturdy enough.

I bought this safe for my fiancé . It took a bit to arrive, but still arrived before the estimated delivery date! Overall it’s a nice safe. It looks great! None of the parts are labeled, I recommend a video as you’re doing it to put it together to match your pieces with theirs. The biggest issue was setting the PIN code. The instructions says to hold the settings button down until it beeps then input your code twice pressing # at the end each time. DONT DO THIS! It won’t work. Press the settings button, and let go, wait just a second and it’ll beep input your passcode then press # and then do it again! Other than the struggles of trying to figure out setting the code, this safe is great!

I originally bought this safe for my uncle, who had his guns scattered in random bags and cases around the house. Honestly, I was a little intimidated when I saw it came unassembled—thought I’d be wrestling with it all afternoon. But to my surprise, putting it together was straightforward, and everything lined up perfectly. Once assembled, it looked and felt sturdy, with more than enough space for his rifles, pistols, and a few extra valuables. The biometric fingerprint reader works flawlessly—I registered all my fingers except my pinkies (too small to scan reliably), and it opens instantly every time. The keypad is intuitive, and there’s even an external charging option so you’re never locked out. It’s not insanely heavy like a bank vault, so mounting it is a must for extra security, but once it’s secured in place, it feels rock solid. We’ve tested it for durability—even an accidental drop from a tall dresser didn’t shake the contents. For the price, it’s a well-built, reliable safe with plenty of room for guns, ammo, documents, and other valuables. Whether for home, office, or even a vehicle setup, this safe is a winner.

Ok, I bought this because my gun cabinet was the old (from the 80’s) wood cabinet with the glass window. After the glass broke, I decided to go another route. I came across this Kaer gun cabinet and dove into the reviews. Now, I always start at the one stars and move up. A lot of the negative reviews centered around poor assembly instructions, holes not lining up and the thinness of the materials. I do agree that the instructions are very poor, however it is a fairly simple cabinet to assemble so they didn’t need to be much more detailed. One item of note is the order of assembly is not specific enough. When I got to the stage to insert the shelves, I was unable to get them in. After weighing the options I decided removing the back panel and loosening the front was best. The shelves did slide in, but getting things back was a bit tricky, not impossible. If the company would letter or number its panels and shelves it would help immensely. Also, making the steps clearer would be good. Now, the holes not lining up issue has either been addressed or folks were just confused as to what screws went where. At first I thought the holes weren’t where they needed to be, but I quickly realized there are holes in the material that are not needed or are for a later stage of assembly. I had no issues with any holes or screws. Aside from the shelves being super tight, all the screws went in easy. Lastly, the materials. I cannot stress this enough. This is a gun locker, not a safe! Yes it has a combination lock but that is more for opening options than for a vault level of security. This locker will keep out the kids and grandchildren, but a determined burglar could defeat this with a crowbar. The door is beefy but the rest is thin aluminum. If you want a gun safe, this is not some deal you stumbled on. Buy a gun safe not a gun locker. In all I am pleased with the look and build of this. Changing from the old standby of the wooden gun cabinet is definitely an upgrade. It isn’t as tall and gaudy as the old style wooden cabinets are. The locks work well and there is plenty of room for all my gun but one. If you have black powder rifles, most likely they are too tall for the cabinet. All my other rifles fit easily. I think three stars are fair due to the poor instructions, and the issues with the shelves. I would recommend this for anyone wanting a cabinet with some level of security at a good price point.
