Excellent replacement beater for tilt style stand mixer

I had been using the enamel coated beater that came with my Kitchen Aid, and I like it; however, the coating started to chip. I purchased this because of the recommendation by Kim of Let Them Eat a Gluten Free Cake. The first time I used it I loved it. The first thing you should know is that it is heavier than it looks. It’s solid and easy to clean. It fits my tilt stand mixer the way it should and seems to be able to take a beating. It’s easier to clean because I don’t have to be gentle. This beater does its job and does it well. I use it at least a few times a week now and it’s holding up nicely. I’ll probably buy the dough hook soon as well.

Heavy duty stainless steal beater

When I purchased my KitchenAid mixer, it came with an enamel coated, flat beater. It did not take long for the paint to start peeling on the bottom. I purchased this 54 K45B stainless steel flat beater, and it is nothing short of amazing. It is heavy, solid and I feel like it will last forever. It was definitely worth the money.

Unflake my heart, say you’ll beat dough again!

BLUF: Great upgrade. The stainless steel beater replaced our old coated one that started flaking, and my wife immediately loved the sturdier feel and cleaner Our original white-coated beater started to chip, so we switched to this stainless steel version. The difference is noticeable right away—solid, smooth, and feels like it’ll last much longer. My wife uses the mixer constantly and said this was a big improvement for a really reasonable price. It fit perfectly, feels durable and easily replaced the original.

This fits my 40 year old Kitchenaid mixer. The original which had a white vinyl coating had several nicks due to my carelessly leaving a spoon in the bowl and turning it on. The stainless one is beautiful. I tried getting information from Kitchenaid chat website and never got a response. Little slippery but still good

Love this attachment for the quality and the price point. It looks really nice on the machine and has some weight to it. However, it is a little loose on the mixer. No issues with it falling off, but it just doesn't feel tight when I put it on. I'd still recommend it as an alternative to the ones sold by the name brand. Those prices are just bananas.

Heavy duty paddle

The original white beater that came with our KitchenAid stand mixer started chipping and leaving white paint chunks in our mixing bowl. Worried about that getting in our food, we quickly switched to this stainless steel paddle and it is so much better! It is very durable and has done a great job.
