Home run. Looks awesome, easy install, and these filters last forever. The first one I got was the wrong one in the right box... obviously an Amazon return that they didn't check, because the box and internals had all been gone through and greasy fingerprints were on the instruction sheet. Somebody bought two different ones because they didn't know which one fit their scoot, then returned the unneeded one in the wrong box. Took 2 days to get the right one sent but that's on Amazon, not K&N. ... show more

Power increase is a definite, seat of the pants feel... Very clean look on my 100th anniversary Road King... I'm here to tell you it is a very confusing install and the instructions are kinda vague but if you have any kind of mechanical skills it can be done... So worth the money!!!

Good-looking on my 2004 FXST/I, complements the engine cylinder fins. CON: the weight is quite heavy , but as headline indicates durable construction material is been used to manufacture their product.

Ok so this is a very nice air intake for a great price. All of the components are well made and fit well. I work as a machinist and can tell this is top notch. The cover is especially good looking. Install is easy if you have basic mechanical skills and the correct included parts (everything was good for me). I definately noticed a solid performance increase over the stock filter and even an AN stage 1. Unfortunately it is very large and hits right on my shin with my riding position. I'm a light 5'6" dude riding mid controls on an 08 fxdl if that helps. It might be ok for most but not me. Unfortunately I have to return it but I am going with another K&N product that fits my riding style better. As long as it doesn't get in the way I would suggest this all day. ... show more

Don't buy it! I've heard bad things about K&N being a rip off, but I went ahead and bought one. It's junk, customer service took two weeks to respond to an email and couldn't even get that right. I called the 800 number for replacement hardware that failed and I got a big box with loose screw(singular). There might have been more but who knows they were just thrown in a 8"x8"x6" box with no packaging. $145 of failure and disappointment. I'll never give them another chance. ... show more
