Description

This K&N NextGen cold air intake system is engineered for RAM 1500 V8 5.7L F/I. A high-density polyethylene (HDPE) rotationally molded tube helps increase the volume of airflow by 36.45% CFM GAIN to your engine and provides an increase of 14.3 horsepower and 15.1 torque with no tune required. This intake system is paired with a washable, reusable Dryflow LIFETIME Air Filter featuring an oil-free synthetic media. The oversized, conical design allows you to go up to 50,000 miles between filter services under normal highway driving conditions and has an easy oil-free two step cleaning process for convenience. A custom designed NextGen air box helps protect intake air from the high temperature of your engine bay, and the entire system can typically be installed in less than 60 minutes.

Thorough instructions included, and install was not difficult. Only issue was with the orange and red pleat covers. They're meant to snap on tight, but they still seemed a hair too long. Truck now has a nice growl, and the throttle response is zippier. Very pleased.

2026 Ram kinda fits?

2026 Ram 1500 Hemi. The good. Install is easy, mostly. Looks good and should work well. The bad. The crank case vent tube doesn't line up and will kink if you try. The sensor is difficult to install. The grommet seems the right size but the hole may need to be opened up more. I emailed the manufacturer about the vent tube and am waiting for a reply. If they don't have a good answer I'll return the kit ASAP and order a competitor product ... show more

I had a terrible experience with this intake. The product I received had an issue with the sensor port — the threads would not screw in at all. I thought it was just a defect, so I requested a replacement, but the second one arrived with the same problem, even worse. The replacement even looked like someone had already tried to install it before, as it came visibly damaged (see photo). I contacted Amazon, and the representative tried to help me. He sent me a link to contact K&N directly and explained that they would send me a new product with no additional charges. I followed all the instructions exactly as he guided me, but unfortunately, I never received any response from the company. In the end, I returned both items and I am still waiting for my refund. Very disappointing experience overall. I expected much better quality and customer support. ... show more
