Fitment could be better, had to trim a little off the engine cover so that it didn’t rub through the rubber boot. Did provide a power boost to the 6.4L Hemi

Instructions came with photos, I like photos. Straight forward removal of original and install of K&N cold air intake. My only issue was they sent the wrong diameter CCV hose which is needed because it’s a little longer than the original. So I stretched the original and put a temporary clamp on to hold it until I got down to the parts store. Left a comment with the shipper with no response. Hence the 4 star rating. As far as performance goes, haven’t had it long enough to check mileage. HP gain? Can’t feel anything by the seat of my pant, but a big increase in decibels. She really roars now. Would I buy again ? Debatable. Had cold air intakes on most of my vehicles. One benefit is you don’t have to buy another filter, but you will have to buy a cleaner and oil kit, plus take the time to clean and re-oil the filter every service. For me it’s once a year and the kit usually last for 2 services. Tip on the recharge kit, get the spray oil and not the squeeze bottle. Thought I’d have more control and less mess with the squeeze bottle and maybe get 3 services out of a kit. Nope! Takes longer to oil every vain on the filter. Not worth it. Easier to clean up the overspray from the spray can and a lot quicker. ... show more
