I’ve had K&N filters in all of my vehicles for years. The quality they are known for and the added HP never hurts! This is the first cold air intake I have ever added to one of my trucks. This thing is a game changer! It was super easy to assemble and install on 2022 Power Wagon. I noticed an immediate increase in HP and overall feel when driving it. Instructions came with photos, I like photos. Straight forward removal of original and install of K&N cold air intake. My only issue was they sent the wrong diameter CCV hose which is needed because it’s a little longer than the original. So I stretched the original and put a temporary clamp on to hold it until I got down to the parts store. Left a comment with the shipper with no response. Hence the 4 star rating. As far as performance goes, haven’t had it long enough to check mileage. HP gain? Can’t feel anything by the seat of my pant, but a big increase in decibels. She really roars now. Would I buy again ? Debatable. Had cold air intakes on most of my vehicles. One benefit is you don’t have to buy another filter, but you will have to buy a cleaner and oil kit, plus take the time to clean and re-oil the filter every service. For me it’s once a year and the kit usually last for 2 services. Tip on the recharge kit, get the spray oil and not the squeeze bottle. Thought I’d have more control and less mess with the squeeze bottle and maybe get 3 services out of a kit. Nope! Takes longer to oil every vain on the filter. Not worth it. Easier to clean up the overspray from the spray can and a lot quicker. ... show more

The instructions were surprisingly easy to follow and get it installed. Any "weekend gearhead" could install this in under 30min. You can feel and hear the difference immediately.
