Didn’t hurt my fuel mileage and seems to have added a bit of pep so I’m hoping it gives me a little more get up and go while towing a travel trailer. It makes my sequoia sound like a race car when the throttle opens a bit which is kind of funny for an suv. The instructions that come with the kit are terrible, horrible, small pictures in black and white. Like use the included hardware as pictured abouve and there’s a tiny photo but you have 20 nuts, bolts, and washers. Find video instructions and watch them before even opening the box. I’m removing an entire star just because of the laziness of the photocopied instructions. I did make my way through it with some previous mechanical experience. Solid product though and a nice surprise that it didn’t hurt fuel mileage like most would. ... show more

    • Does not FIT! 2006 Tundra with 4.7
I bought this intake for my wife's 2006 Toyota Tundra with a 4.7 V8. The order arrived fast and was packed well. The parts of high quality and it comes with good instructions with pictures. It's pretty simple to install in about 15 mins. As I was installing it, I ran into a small problem in that it would not fit. This part number seems to be made for an older model that has a different style mass air sensor (round body). The Amazon website indicated that it WAS compatible with my vehicle but it is not, so watch out! I checked the K&N website and it shows that a different part number is required. I recommend you do the same and then search that p/n on Amazon. I re-ordered the correct one. Unfortunately that part number cost a bit more and Amazon is also charging me return shipping (~$12.00), citing it was not their fault. I will make an appeal for a refund because I feel that the website was misleading. I give this listing a 3 star rating for that reason only. This intake is awesome! Easy application on my 2002 Toyota Tundra with basic tools, the directions aren't the best but if you have a brain it shouldn't be too hard. Performance isn't extremely noticable but damn does this thing sound mean!! I can here it sucking air when I have the windows up, it makes my truck sound like it is turbocharged! ... show more

Product looks nice in the add and pictures however product does not completely resemble the posting. My package also shipped with missing parts and as i live overseas this was beyond frustrating with the extra time and money i had to dish out. Overall seems AIIGHTTT. Do NOT buy on amazon as you may receive a package without all parts my best advice is either order in a store you can go back to or be prepared to search for whatever part they don’t include. In conclusion, disappointing because of delivery and money but product seems to be decent. Mostly helps in the middle to upper range of speed so if you’re looking for a better pick up speed under 45mph i wouldnt really consider this an option but what do i know ? I still have 2 disconnected vacuum lines because of them ... show more

The K & N system installation into my 2002 Tundra went very well with only one exception - the hole in the tube for the mass air sensor was not properly placed in relation to the threaded screw holes. I had to use a half-round rasp to adjust the size of the hole in the tube to allow proper alignment for the screws that hold the mass air sensor in place.
