  • Great aftermarket upgrade!
The install is straight forward. My throttle response has improved tremendously and has breathed new life into my 2014 Impala Limited LTZ. So long as you're not constantly red-lining it, you should also see an increase in fuel efficiency as well. My only gripe is that the included SAE #44 hose clamp that is supposed to secure the hump hose to the throttle body is too tight. My throttle body has a lip on one side and the added thickness of the hose made it impossible to clear. I spent more time than I care to admit trying to finagle it on. Spare yourself the headache and save yourself some time, grab a SAE #48 hose clamp before you install. ... show more

  • Fit perfectly
I have a 2013 Impala and fit perfect. The only line with issues was the pvc line you need to play to set it.

  • first time buying a cold air intake.
first time buying a cold air intake. the stock air filter and the k and n filter for stock air box wasnt enough, was an improvement from the original, saving me 2 seconds from 0-60 (with stock it was 10 seconds). this was the best thing ive bought. with this, not only it makes my 2014 impala limited more powerful on sound and performance, but as well as faster. i can now go 0-60 in 6.5 seconds, and the k&n stock made a difference on speed, but not sound. and it took me 30 minutes to install since im a professional mechanic. ... show more

  • Quality?
The quality of the product is A-OK. But support from K&N is B-A-D. The kit came with the wrong size hose clamps, and low quality and poorly fitting Torx screws for the MAF sensor. Otherwise, the filter, intake tube and boots are of good quality. Definitely overpriced. However, there is noticeable performance difference in the car ar low end acceleration. And ZERO support from K&N. ... show more

  • Check your maf sensor
2012 lt. took me a while to install and when I finally did everything and was about to screw the mass airflow sensor into the intake tube, the screws didnt line up. Im not sure if they sent the wrong one but before you install this make sure the screws on your maf sensor line up with the intake tube. I returned the intake ... show more

  • A highly necessary upgrade (if you can afford it)
Nice convenient upgrade on my 2013 Impala LS - no more removing the factory air duct and splitting the airbox to check / change the air filter, no more trash such as toilet paper, napkins, leaves and insects to get trapped inside the airbox, and no more restricted airflow. The acceleration improvement is definitely noticeable, too, but it also make a lot more noise under the hood during full throttle. The only gripe about this kit is the price - $290 is a bit steep; $175 flat is more like it. ... show more

  • The sound...WOW!
I'm most impressed with the sound...didn't think it would make that much of a difference but it does especially at higher RPMs. My 2013 Impala sounds like a sports car. GM used the same V6 they put in the Camaros but it's just quieter. I can feel the performance gain at higher RPMs but it's not as significant as the sound gain. It sounds good at any time you give it some gas...I'm going to see if there's a difference in performance if I run it with flexfuel. ... show more

  • A bit pricy, but worth it
A little pricy, but I have no regrets. The car sounds really nice when you accelerate like other reviews have stated. A very beefy noise considering it’s a v6. It definitely feels a like I have a bit torque when I accelerate. It felt like the engine wasn’t getting enough air to perform originally. I’m pretty sure I have been getting better gas mileage too. I haven’t had to fill up as much. It’s worth the purchase honestly. I would definitely buy again ... show more
