The original bolts with the kit were too short, so I had to go to the hardware store to pick up extended bolts. Other than that, the remaining product looks fine.     • Good upgrade
A mechanic friend told me it was the cheapest upgrade for the best performance for my truck. My truck doesn't choke out and rev up to high rpms going up hill anymore. It sounds better and has better throttle response. It's too early to tell about gas mileage. It was easy to install, it took me about two hours and that was mostly looking for my tools. There's a step not in the instructions. The front right throttle body bolt has a bracket for the linkage. Under that bracket there's a nut you have to take off in order to make the coupling level with the other two. I would recommend this to anyone. I'm buying one for my dad for Christmas. ... show more

This was easily installed with your basic tools, and went on in an hour. Notice when I first started it up the truck wasn't working as hard at idle and at cruising speeds the rpm's dropped a little bit. I mainly drive city so haven't really noticed mpg increase but there is more acceleration with it on now. It seems like it revs up faster now with the new intake.     • Missing pieces
The product was shipped with missing pieces. I did not get the 4 6mm nylock nuts so I want able to put in on my truck and had to go out and buy some. Very frustrating. Also the instruction sheet being in black/white and pixelated make it hard to see what pieces it to put on.

The original bolts with the throttle body adapter kit were too short, so I had to go to the hardware store to pick up extended bolts (6mm).

I installed this on my 4.3 Silverado P/U. It went on fairly easy and only took about a 1 1/2 hours to install. You can feel and notice the difference right away. It almost feels like a different engine. I would recommend this to anyone who is trying to increase the power in their 4.3. All the parts are made from quality products.
