I have a 4wd 2000 nissan xterra, I put a lot a thought and time into reviewing cold air intakes and I finally decided to buy one. It added about 2 mpg, I don't know how much more horse power, but I did notice a nice bit more. It gives it a more throaty sound and a a air sucking noise when you put your foot on the pedal. Overall I would recommend getteing one. someone put it to me this way , not haveing a cold air is like running with your hand on your mouth and a cold air intake is like takeing your hand your hand off. ... show more

Little bummed that I dropped nearly 330 on this intake. And it comes with missing parts and an install “how to” for a Honda when I ordered it for an XTerra. Threw me off for a minute. Then when I found the pdf for my XTerra install I realize it’s missing a rubber hose from the TB to the plastic hose. So now I’m just gonna let this be my excuse to drink a few more beers than I’m supposed to haha. But I would like that part. ... show more

Creates a great "I'm really trying!" sound when I pour on the gas but I haven't noticed any actual increased horsepower/torque/mileage as the manufacturer claims. Install was simple and it's a better price than I find for it else where, but my goal was increased power and that just hasn't materialized. ... show more
