12/15/2023 Installation: Personally I find this cold air intake to be absolutely amazing. I just finished installing it, and I have next to no mechanic knowledge or skills, yet it was easy and straight forward. Did require some elbow grease and tools, but that was expected. The instructions it came with were very clear, and honestly I didn't need anything beyond that. Maybe took me around an hour and a half. Performance: I drive a 2016 Accord coupe v6 manual, and it comes stock with around 278hp. I will say I think the intake did give it a small amount of hp. It seems to have a slight increase in throttle response, and a little more torque in higher gears. It is nothing drastic by any means, but it is noticeable. Sound: This sounds absolutely amazing. It turned stock V6 motor into a monster. It has a deep gurgling growl at lower rpms, which transitions to almost a roar at higher rpms. Of course, the sound is only noticeable once you step on the gas, which personally I appreciate. Driving at a constant speed, and slight accelerations don't bring out the added noise. It sounds amazing from inside the car, and it sounds amazing from outside the car as well. I stood on a curb and let someone else drive the car back and forth on the road while flooring it, and honestly I could hear it from a long distance away. To be fair, it was an empty road, so there was basically no other noises interfering. But yes, it can for sure be heard. Overall I would definitely buy this product again. I was looking at cheaper alternative, but I'm very happy that I settled with this one. I will update this review if anything new pops up.

Very Yes. Car like to breathe. This help it breathe. Car breathe sound good. I recommend. Get to at least 5k rpms for the best sounds. my 9th gen Accord V6 is very happy with this purchase.

Just installed on my 2013 V6MT Accord coupe, and let me tell you, the sound is MEAN! I do feel an improvement in performance, throttle response seems smoother, and did I mention that growl coming from the front end? It certainly makes my car even more fun to drive that it was before (I took my wife out on a little rip around the freeway after the install and I couldn't stop giggling!) Install went flawless (took me 1.5 hours and I'm not that mechanically inclined), as the instructions are great and K&N has a tutorial on YouTube. Just play the vid at .5/.75 to slow it down a bit. This is a high tier product; bolt on goodness that you will not regret purchasing!

The shipping was fast and the quality looks good for this item. I can't review the performance of this because it was missing two pieces. A 90° elbo and a small bracket. You figure for the price of this it should all be there and correct. Right now this product is useless and so far I've had no communicate back when I reached out. Disappointing.

Saving up for this small performance upgrade was well worth the money! If you want to give your car a growl and a bit more pep, this is by far the best way to do that. Installing this on my 2014 Honda Accord V6 Coupe took about an hour and a half, and the power difference was immediately noticeable. It's hard to say how MUCH more different it feels, but it was noticeable for sure. More than anything though was the induction noise. The Honda J-series V6's already have a great sound, but coupling it with this SRI gives it a nice low burble in the low rpm's, and a mean growl at the redline. I haven't done a 0-60 run yet to see if there was a difference, but buying this for the sound alone was enough for me!

Very easy to install, looks fantastic and it adds a mean growl when throttling. I was kind of bummed that mine had a black rubber cover on the end of the air filter, which is pictured as a chrome finish which I would have preferred. It kind of sucks that you have to remove the tube airway to the hood scoop airflow, which ensures the purest, coldest outside air. I’ve seen other brands that add a box around the filter and connected to the outside airway. Overall, MPG is about the same. But it looks awesome and sounds even better!

Honda EX-L V6. Installed pretty easily, but of course I have restored a car and have a garage full of tools and a reasonable amount of skill. Nothing the average person couldn't install. Took about an hour and was fun. I've owned several K&N products over the years and I have never been disappointed. Always quality. Always fits very well, well engineered. Sound is the greatest change you'll likely notice. As others have pointed out accurately is that it is not noticeable at idle or under light throttle, but when you hammer it the car now sounds like it has a performance dual exhaust with high-flow mufflers or something. I know it is coming from under the hood of course. I think it sounds killer myself. As for a power increase, well 7 or so extra HP and a little bit more torque is not going to really be earth shaking, but I expected that. I would say it is a just a tad more peppy. Nothing crazy.
