Unfortunately One of the Hose clamps was too small and it was missing a nut but other than that directions were super simple and it fit pretty much perfect. Installed this on my 07 2.5 Altima. I definitely noticed a slight power gain, and I love the sound. You only really start to hear it after 3k rpms. After first installing it, you may find yourself slamming the gas to get to 3k rpms just to hear the beautiful sound it makes, but after you get over that phase and start driving normally, you'll notice a slight increase in MPG. Driving my 09 altima with k&n air intake for over a week now and i have to say it gives an extra boost on accelaration. Also i noticed it gives extra gas mileage. Sound is nice and i love it. Right now im looking to pair it with stillen exhaust system

Throttle is much more responsive across entire power band and has a noticeable gain in acceleration from start. The sound is the deeper at lower power levels, but not louder. The only "noise" (that some have complained about) is when under aggressive throttle. At which point this I4 engine resembles the sound of an angry V8 which some people might find irritating. However, at regular cruising (under 2500rpm) the engine sounds no different. Overall, great buy and well worth it. Highly recommended. ... show more

Instructions were a little here and there but we figured it out and it looks and sounds incredible especially at 3k+ rpms. Startup is slightly more aggressive as well, and even more when cold.

Installed this on my 2008 Nissan Altima 2.5S. Quick install, took about 90 minutes. Caution, do not over tighten plastic parts. I did and sheared the threads off in the hole. After a quick run to Home Depot's plumbing section, I now have metal parts there. Performance gain is noticeable (above 3K RPMs / Freeway speeds). Improved gas mileage from 26 mpgs to 28.5 mpgs. Has a throaty grrrr like there's a angry tiger in the engine. From 70 MPH to 100 MPH (passing) it just moves. Love it. ... show more

    • Good product. Be carefull when installing.
Be carefull when installing the crankcase vent adaptor. They send you a plastic one that breaks easily. I contacted K&N and got a replacement part with no problems. This kit was easly to install with the instructions provided. After installed, you can really notice the throttle response is quicker and a little bit of hp gain. There is definate increse in sound coming from under the hood due to more air flow. I would recommend this product to anybody that wants a more agressive sounding car. ... show more
