This K&N cold air intake system is engineered for your vehicle. installation was easy, I used the stock cam hose because the one sent to me was too short, by about 4 inches. That isn’t a problem as the atock hose is the same thing and in good shape. The only issue is taking out the stock intake system completely as it was just a bunch of plastic. On the most positive side and why I gave you guys a five star is, my car has life now. Throttle response is better by a noticeable margin. I’ve tested it on hills using the same rpm range and there is an improvement everywhere. I notice heat still bypasses close to the battery but that is at idol. But when placing hands in the two separate areas (intake bay, and engine bay) you notice a massive temp difference. The product was very well made. As expected with K&N. I love the sound, and how quiet I also can have my car now. I hated the stock buzzing engine and now, when throttle is 1/4 to open, it has an amazing growl! Makes the GT on this cat a better fit. Even though power is still lacking do to Hyundai. Not K&N. Thank you guys so much, I used to buy crappy intakes and will never settle for less than perfect. Thank you.

Awful experience installing on my 2017 Hyundai Elantra SE. I've put these intakes on many different vehicles without any issues. This one was awful. The instructions CLAIM it is made specifically for my car. It even says it on the package. There is no way. The pictures they used for the instructions are taken from an entirely different vehicle, despite saying on the box it is for the exact model vehicle.. Then, the parts do not align correctly. I CANNOT get the air vent guide to line up with the filter for anything. In the picture from the seller, you can see the second hose on the left, the short stub. It does NOT line up with the plastic air shroud. I broke mine trying to get it in line.. Followed instructions word for word, and checked countless times to make sure I did it right. The picture shows a different setup. I thought I was buying one made FOR my vehicle, like it says on everything on the box. Apparently not. I'm not happy. Anyways, I rigged it to work. It is missing that one hose directing air to the intake through that plastic shroud, but I can't help it. There is nothing I can do. The shroud is broken from trying to force this thing to fit. I ended up having to build my own new pieces and redirecting it over a little bit. I'm very annoyed. I can't even put my stock filter back together now to send this one back, because the MAIN component directing air into the filter is now broken. I have to use this one or order a new stock one so that I can order a new cold air intake, which makes no sense. In the end, it turned out nice. This thing sounds absolutely amazing. Several people that listened to it after I put it in asked what kind of V6 they put in these Elantra's. (It's a 4 cylinder...) It sounds mean. Also can DEFINITELY tell a power boost of a couple horsepower. Worth $300? No. I can build my own entire setup from scratch for under $100, and even still use a K&N Filter on it. Am I going to piece my car all the way back together to send this junky design back? No. Not after all that work rigging it together. I'm quite angry at K&N for this design. It is clearly not a good fit.

Super easy to install, only took about 20 minutes. The noise alone is worth the price! Definitely added some horsepower! My neighbors were impressed that I could install it myself but K&N made it easy!

Sounds great! It was rather easy to install except the heat shield to the rubber mounting hardware. One of the bolts that came in this kit for the heat shield Mount was threaded poorly and it made it a nightmare trying to secure the heat shield. Everything else was somewhat straight forward. It looks great in the car and sounds even better! Only thing I have to warn of is what years this product is designed to fit. The advert says it will fit a 2017 but it will not. The box says 2014-2016. 2.0 & 1.8.

What can I say! Super happy with the results for it enhances the sound of the engine (makes it sound like a V6 hahaha). As you guys can see I just had a little issues with the heat shield and fitment but other than that I am more than happy with the product and so far so good! Not going to lie, I did noticed a reduction on my MPG like it went from 34mpg to 31mpg. It is a little challenging to install for the space on my engine bay is a little smaller than the older years but hey.. you can definitely do it on your own, not that hard. I was about to get ripped off at a shop for $120-$80. But yeah, my car model is a Hyundai Elantra 2018 SEL and I am more than happy with the product and final results. I can definitely feel some HP gain.

The kit I received was the wrong airbox fitting and wrong charge pipe. It did not fit on the manual. It says for a 14 to 16 I ordered for a 17 it said it would fit they were wrong. It doesn’t fit close so now here I am stuck with a $300 cold air intake that I can’t even use, and if I wanted to, I would have to have something built, but it wouldn’t be the correct that I always like to use.

I installed this on my 2015 Elantra sport, 2.0. The intake fits very well. It looks good too. But there's no noticeable gain in power. Maybe 5-10hp. It does make the car louder. You can hear the engine more. It's an intake sound so it's deep and throaty. It might make make rev matching easier (6 speed), but probably not worth the price and the effort though.
