I love how this has changed the way my car runs. The throttle response is much quicker, a definite increase in horsepower, and finally love the sound my engine makes. My 2017 Taurus has a 3.5 L V6 engine that was fairly quiet and now sounds like a V8. I had to contact K & N because the threads on one of the pieces was incorrect and broke. About 10 days later I received a free replacement part. While installing it I found a metal tab inside the air intake tube that would have ended up in my engine had I not found it. Would have caused major engine damage. I love the air filter but surprised by quality control. Installation wasn't too difficult. I assembled most of it prior to installing it. ... show more

Install was straight forward and everything was included. No surprises on opening the box. It looks factory on the all black engine. Just like the last one I installed, just take your time and everything fits.

I order to fit my SUV , an it didn't fit correctly so I had to contact K&N and they didn't want to cooperate with their help , they toldme that it was Amazon problem selling the wrong part for MY SUV, So here I'm trying to make it work, I haven't had an answer from AMAZON

Took about 25 minutes to put in, no issues! I installed a catback exhaust on my taurus and wanted to install a cold air intake as well, the sound of this intake with the exhaust is unmatched!
