The K&N Cold Air Intake Kit is a great accessory, and I am very pleased that I bought it. I was looking for a CAI to put on my 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali with the 6.2L engine and was looking at the Cold Air Inductions or the S&B CAI kits but was hesitating due to the high prices those two systems cost. The S&B kit also appears to require a lot of effort to install by having to remove the stock air box and replacing it with the S&B air box. The Cold Air Inductions kit uses the lower half of the stock air box, and I wondered if I could get similar performance by just replacing the stock air filter with a high airflow K&N filter. While looking for a high airflow filter, I came across this K&N kit and decided to take a chance. I am so happy that I did. The cost savings is almost $200 over the other two kits, it was fairly easy to install, and I am seeing instant and long-term results already. I took a 180-mile trip and measured my MPG with the stock air intake system and got an average of 19.6 MPG. I replaced the stock filter and intake tube with the K&N kit and measured the MPG again and got an average of 20.2 MPG. Of course, this wasn’t a controlled environment lab test, but for everyday driving, the increased MPG made me happy. I also record my overall MPG average on my Trip 1 meter that I never reset. I had a 15.3 MGP average for 10,000 miles, after installing the K&N CIA kit, I have increased my overall MGP to 15.6 in just 2,000 miles. These aren’t huge changes, but they are improvements on what I was getting, and I like the clean, streamline look of the kit under the hood, and the slightly better growl I get from my exhaust as well. I highly recommend buying this kit.

Quick and simple. Very easy to install. Sounds great and very responsive. Plus it cleans up the engine bay by removing the bulky air box. Gas mileage is up +2mpg. But the sound will change that lol.

It was an easy installation, sounds great response is quick and the price was good only issue it was missing a hose and I had everything disassembled and had to go to parts store and get one.

The hose was not provided for the crankcase vent. The stock one does not make the distance. DON’T TRY IT! I snapped off the screw in adapter on the tube.

Leaves your maf untouched so no need for a tune or risk of cel. 50 state legal. Nice and quiet under 3k rpms. A nice growl but not too loud above 3k rpms. Very satisfied. Simple install, the oem box is a "T" at the mounting bracket which is why you have to tilt it straight up and down. No need to disconnect your battery or maf sensor. Even gm doesn't tell you to when changing the air filter. The tub installs easy with the box/filter in place.

Please be mindful that this is not a full CAI kit! I was due for a new air filter and came across this kit when I was searching for K&N filters. I'm definitely not breaking any records sending my 8000 lb sled down a track, but I do enjoy the throaty engine noise and a did feel a bit of difference in throttle response, but nothing significant. I also can't say I've noticed much of a difference in MPG's, but overall I'm satisfied knowing I've got a good air filter and I can actually hear a V8 when I get on the gas.
