I’ve always had an intake of some sort on every vehicle I have owned, with the exception of this camper van. I installed a drop-in K&N filter and that was about it for years. Recently, I w decided to, ‘pop the airbox’ and leave that filter exposed. I seemed to get a little better mileage on the highway, but no noise over stock. Skeptical, I used the $50 off coupon and an Amazon gift card to order this intake system. Even after installing and looking everything over, I had my doubts. First drive and I’m impressed! The low end grunt is there and the butt dyno says we picked up throughout the power band. Intake growl is there as well. The beast finally sounds like a beast. I’m going to fill the tank and take a longer road trip to test out if there is an MPG increase, if I can keep my foot out of hearing the engine. It sounds good. ... show more

Package arrived on schedule and with all parts needed. Installed just before a 4,800 mile trip in December in a Class C RV with a Ford Triton V10 2V engine. Noticeable driving improvement, particularly on long climbs and a 200 or so rpm drop at cruising speeds on highways. Now have K&N products on all vehicles.     • Definitely not what I expected.
I installed this systems on my 2000 Ford motorhome. I was told it would increase horse power and improve gas mileage. I don't have any way to check the increased horse power, but my gas mileage fell by 1 mpg. That doesn't sound like much, but on a vehicle that only gets 8 mpg, that adds up to a lot more fuel on a 1700 mile trip. I plan to remove this unit and replace the factory package. ... show more
