Fits great in a 2014 Dodge Durango R/T with no modifications. I wasn't sure if it was going to work in my vehicle because all of the information only showed compatibility with 2011-13 Durango with the 5.7L Hemi and the 2014s were a mid cycle refresh. This product fits great in a 2014 Durango R/T and I had no issues. It was very easy to install and the included instructions were clear and understandable. I was able to watch an installation video on youtube that improved my understanding of the installation and what my results should be. It took me around a hour to install the K&N filter kit and I think it looks great and sounds wonderful. I noticed faster throttle response and my 0-60 times dropped to 5.75 seconds. I got this for my 2013 Dodge Durango R/T. The install took about 30 minutes, but we had installed one before on the Charger so everything was familiar (that one took about an hour). I have not driven with it for a full tank of gas yet, but I do see an improvement in gas mileage (although anything over 12.5mpg is an improvement lol). The sound of the air being sucked in is a nice addition and I can hear a bit more of a grumble, not much, but there is a little more. I know it increased my horsepower but seeing as I drive the Durango and not the Charger, I can't really say I notice the increase. One note, when removing the sensor - the instructions mention a clip. There is not a clip on the 2013 Dodge Durango. There is however a little plastic piece sticking out of the sensor (don't break that!) and then there is a raised plastic ledge around where the sensor is sitting, like a ramp - so the little plastic piece on the sensor is flush with the highest part of the ramp and this is what prevents it from turning and coming out. I just used some pliers on the ramp to squish (highly technical here) the ramp plastic down, kind of flattened it, and then the sensor could turn and come out unscathed. I wasn't going to be selling or using the replaced intake though, so if you are considering selling that piece you should use some lithium grease and gently lift that tiny sensor plastic piece up and over the ramp piece. But smooshing the ramp is so much easier. lol ... show more

Sounds awesome! OK, so the claim about better fuel mileage is a stretch and many will deny that you'll get any horsepower but it certainly feels more powerful even if it is just my ears playing tricks on my other senses. Which brings me back to the sound. If you think your Grand Cherokee is too quiet like I did then this is the mod for you. It's not so loud that it is annoying, in fact you only really hear it when you are over half throttle but when you do it's sweet music for the soul. The only bad part about this product is the price. K&N charges A LOT for this. Too much in fact. I only bought mine because it was a "scratch & dent" special. There are other companies that get you almost the same thing except with aluminum tubing for $150 - $160. Some will claim you get more power with plastic tubing because it stays cooler but I really doubt it. As long as air is moving through the tube it stays cool. Yes, the K&N is built in America and the other brands are China built which is the only reason I paid more but hopefully these other companies cause K&N to reduce their prices a little, I'm sure they can still keep their lights on with a 200% mark up. They can claim R&D cost all they want but the filter technology was paid for a long time ago and the ducting route really isn't that complicated. And don't even get me started on AIRAID, those guys are robbing us blind! But I would certainly recommend this product as long as you can get a good price. ... show more

This intake is great, plain and simple. Quick installation, adds a slightly better throttle response, and makes the engine sound more aggressive. Here’s my only gripe. I own a 2018 Dodge Durango R/T. As some of you may know the R/T has functional hood scoops and vents. Where the air filter is positioned, it sits right underneath a hood vent allowing rain to be sucked up right into the engine. For this reason I reinstalled the OEM intake until K&N manufactures a cover. Which they ARE in the process of making, and you have to call the company directly to get on a mailing order for no charge. So BEWARE IF YOU HAVE A 2018+ R/T, because you will destroy your engine if you leave this intake on if it rains. Hope this helps, and if you’re like me and just HAVE to have it, maybe hold off until this BIG issue is fixed. ... show more

Installed in my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 5.9 hemi, woke her right up. Throttle response is much better. Deep growl when getting up to speed. I have actually noticed an increase in fuel milage, a nice plus with the V-8. Install was straight forward, instructions are very clear.

The product came with step by step instructions on how to remove the old filter and add the intake including what parts to swap out. The reason for only giving 3 stars is when it came time to remove the airflow sensor from the old unit and place the rubber grommet on the new intake the hole had not been drilled out yet. The intake had a mark right where the picture on the instructions showed where the grommet should be placed. I had to drill my own hole and make sure there was no plastic shavings left over that could be sucked into the engine. Other than that the step by step instructions were spot on and the install process was very easy. Could easily have been 5 stars. Noticable change in engine sound and response, have not used long enough to notice a change in gas mileage. ... show more
