At first blush,I was skeptical of the claims,but my little 4 banger slush box needed help! Love the little GMC,but needed better throttle response and shift point improvement. The K&N has helped in these areas. Installation was a breeze and fit was good,air flow/temp monitor changeover could not have been easier. Air box to hood seal was bad but solved problem with packaged window A/C weather seal foam. If you have a 2010-2012 GMC Canyon W/T with the 4 banger and auto trans, this is recommended. Easy enough to install. Is it worth it?-No, esp the small filter that is useless for my Chevy. Looks perty I guess

Awesome k&n filter system. Would recommend it highly...better torque and gas mileage. Also sounds good with muffler change out. Easy instructions to install as long as u have some type of tool knowledge

My son put this on his 4 cylinder pickup, it was easy to put on and gave the truck quick a bit more power. It is a little noisy when you punch the gas pedal though. All in all he is pleased with the purchase.

some of the instructions were not clear and parts could have been labeled better. took longer to install than it should have. one bracket that supports the tube was not maker for its orientation. had to take it off to change it to line up better. the adapter for the filter should have been attached to the shield to keep it sealed from the heat. But with that said its the only kit on the marked for the Colorado Truck with the 4 cylinder. ... show more
