Great piece of kit! I don't see why I would get a small rig one over this, the only matte box I would get over this is the Tilta Mirage, but for the price, this is perfectly usable. Very lightweight, the price is cheap enough to where I'm not incredibly worried about damaging it, it's lowkey enough to where it doesn't stand out (not more than how a matte box stands out anyways), easy to adjust on the fly, and feels sturdy enough to where I don't have to creep around eggshells worrying if it'll hold up. ... show more

The lightweight carbon fiber build feels durable yet easy to handle, and the matte finish gives my setup a clean, professional look. Its slim design avoids vignetting even with wide lenses, and the included adapter rings (67 mm to 95 mm) make it compatible with a variety of glass. Setup is fast—mounting and removing it takes seconds thanks to the smooth locking system. The carbon fiber top flag does an excellent job blocking stray light and glare, which has noticeably improved my outdoor shots. The matte box is designed to hold two standard 4×5.65″ filters, which is great for stacking ND and diffusion filters. The only drawback is that it comes with one filter holder, even though it supports two. Bought it for the looks, seems like a nice piece of equipment and makes you camera look like a professional cinematography equipment, but if you are only going for the looks, I wouldn't recomend buying it and it's worse if you are planning on using a circular filter, taking it on and off is a waste of time. But I bet that if you will use it for rectangular filters it's great! ... show more
