  • Versatile Quality Tripod
While looking at copy stands, I came across this tripod. I was in need of something that let me shoot downwards for axial lit photo shots. While a copy stand might be the optimal choice for the type of shot I wanted, good ones are expensive and only for that one purpose. This tripod appeared to have the ability to do a downward shot while still being somewhat easily adjustable. After some research about K&F and their lineup, I decided to give this tripod a try. Very happy that I did as this tripod is great! Not only did it give me what I needed for downward shots, it has so many other options for photo shooting. I liked this model because it has a bigger ball head size than most in it's class. I needed it to support my older Canon 5D Mark III body & lens. The ball head handles the weight without any issues even with the center column extended horizontally. That was a key selling point for me. Moreover, the versatility of this tripod is great. You can put it into just about any position you might need. It's sturdy and well made but yet quite lightweight. It compacts nicely just under 17" and comes with a nice storage bag. It can easily be carried in a backpack too. I'm shorter in size so didn't need anything too tall either and this can extend taller than me. The center column adjustment to transverse and 360 movement are key features for my needs. Even having a color choice makes this tripod stand out from others too. This is a well made tripod, extremely versatile and available for a reasonable cost (even better pricing as I got it on prime day). So if you're in need of a good quality tripod that can do just about everything without breaking the bank, look no further. Highly recommended! ... show more

  • Awesome!
So I have had this Tripod for about a week now. I absolutely love the versatility of adjusting the legs for uneven levels. It's lightweight, and easy to use once you know what all the locks are for. My only cons: I find that my camera can still be a little heavy for the ball joints and no matter how hard I tighten it still slips a bit. depending on how you have your setup you may want to adjust for potential weight strain pulling on the joint. Otherwise, I absolutely love the versatility. ... show more

Probably one of the most versatile tripods out there. Can't wait to video my son marching with it.

  • Reasonable for lightweight setups and travel…
… but not great for all-around use. I do like the versatility, particularly with the transverse arm, but you start to see its limitations when using it with heavier rigs or when applying micro adjustments, particularly vertical, to the ball or the panorama swivel. I often thought I had it locked down, but when I let go, the ball would slip a fraction of an inch, sometimes losing my subject out of the frame. This was especially annoying with super telephoto shots with solar photography or wildlife. The tripod was decent, but not sturdy enough when I started using larger lenses. It would shake a little even with a mild to moderate breeze. But its light weight and compactness when closed up is advantageous for travel. I have since replaced this with a much sturdier tripod, but i would still consider this a reasonable unit for anyone looking for a compact tripod or using lightweight equipment (compact point-and-shoot cameras or entry-level mirrorless/DSLRs). But be aware of limitations when updating to heavier equipment, especially super-telephoto prime/zoom lenses. If you’re among the latter, invest in a more robust tripod. “Buy nice (for what you need) or buy twice.” ... show more

  • This tripod has uneven legs.
Color: 32mm Ball Head (Gray)
Upon opening I find out this a crooked tripod. Very frustrating to have to level the tripod every single flipping time I use it, even on a flat and level surface. You can not just open it and use it with perfect conditions because the tripod is designed incorrectly. They spent plenty of time engineering a detachable monopod that is the reason for this issue. You have to adjust the monopod leg out when closed to level but then you do the opposite to the two other legs when extended. You have to shorten the other two legs when fully extended. Does it matter if a tripod is sturdy or sold for a food price if it is always crooked? Returning. ... show more

  • Solid tripod for the value. Would recommend
Color: 32mm Ball Head (Gray)
Overall, it is a great tripod for the value. Many useful features and functionality. Especially the different modes you can put the tripod in. Definitely appreciate that it is arca-swiss compatible, decently sturdy and light. Could be more compactable and would be really nice if you could quickly change the head with a quick release function, as seen on other tripods and monopods. I use a ball head for photography and video head for videos and would appreciate the ability to swap in n' out the heads based on needs for the tripod. ... show more
