Got this as a gift but I opened it to see if there were any cracks or imperfections before giving it. The teacups are adorable! I purposely got this set because of the all glass look and the style of teapot warmer. There were very minor imperfections in one or two cups but barely noticeable. I’ve noticed many complaints on this product were the size of the cups. I wish people did more research on other cultures because if they did they would know that these are Asian teacups and the small size has several purposes. ... show more

I did not think the cups would be as small as they are, probably my own bad judgement but I mean they are not functional at all really. I also felt like the teapot was going to break, especially if you put warm liquid in it, definitely don't put hot in it. I probably won't use it again so not worth the money to me... looked cute though, just wasn't practical at all ... show more

I am so in love with this teapot. It may be small, but it's perfect for one person; especially for medicinal teas. It is just so beautiful and it functions beautifully. I absolutely hate cold tea, and this pot all but eliminates that issue. I wasn't sure how well a single tea light candle would work, but it truly does keep your tea warm. The very bottom of the pot always has the hottest tea, and the top stays at a perfectly drinkable temperature without going cold. The little cups are almost like tea shot glasses in size, but it somehow gives the entire experience a more elegant feel to it. My only complaint is that my uva ursi leaves do sometimes slip through the slits in the glass, and it is a bit of a pain to clean. You have to shove your fingers up against the insides of the infuser core to shove tiny particles out of the slits, then pull them out the entire way with your other hand. Other than that, I have found no issues with this teapot, and that issue is likely just because the tea leaves I use are thin and don't exactly bulk up the way green tea leaves would. Even with this cleaning difficulty, it still cleans better than a mesh filter would. ... show more

When i first got this teapot I thought it was way too small. The cups are about the size of a shot glass. But it turned out PERFECT! I think of it like drinking sake. The cup is just the right size to have a few sips and refill. It's perfect so your tea never gets cold. And the warmer keeps it at exactly the right temperature. I make at least one pot of tea and day and can sit with it for hours sipping slowly & refilling my cup. The only downside is that the strainer that came with it sucks. Immediately it leaked some tea leaves out into the water, but then it also clogged up and the water wasn't draining out of it. I threw it away and just use my own. But everything else about this little teapot is perfection. ... show more

No, I wouldn't give this to a child, but I wanted something I could use for the flower tea blooms and this is perfect for that. I can see myself using it in my office all winter.
