We are very happy with the daybed, it is solid and sturdy, and pretty. Assembly is quite the commitment, there are a lot of pieces, definitely lay everything out in order before you start! It is a two person project, unless you have three hands! And warning the assembled size can be a challenge to doorways. This frame is a little hard to build at first because it looks weird but it was pretty easy after the first couple of steps. This thing is so strong and solid. Really nice. Thicker looking than the pics show. The pics don’t do it justice. Buy it and you’ll be glad. I am!

The bed is sturdy so I’m happy about that for the price it is! Directions are horrible! Parts are labeled wrong so took my husband forever and lots of frustration. Once built I love the look and design , packaging was good and no damage. I will say the screws on the back of the bed are horrible if you plan to push this up against a wall. So look into a protective pad or small protective item to help that not dig into the dry wall. Over all it’s good bed for price. ... show more

Everything was fine until the last step, where we tried to put the back frame together to complete the bed frame. The back frame is supposed to slide in together but the way this product is made it is impossible to do so. I should have read more of the bad reviews first before buying this product. Wish I could get a refund but I'm unable to send this product back. But I highly do not recommend. The instructions are also hard to follow. I'm using as a couch. I have ploppers and my couches don't hold for more than 2 years. Very strong, took me by myself 4 hours to put together. I purchased mattress local. My mattress is to thick that I got, would get no more than a 11 inch, will need step stool for shorter guests. Plus with thicker mattress you lose the arm rest and back isn't as high. This isn't the frames fault it's well made ... show more

I ordered this bed for my eldest child a couple of years ago and had zero issues, so I ordered another for my youngest and had several issues (the only reason this bed is getting 3 stars instead of 2 is due to the fact that I had such a positive experience the first time)..Firstly, the box came all taped up as if it had been repackaged. Upon opening the box, some of the parts were in their plastic packaging and some were just rattling around loose with no plastic wrap or tape around them (another indicator that I received a used item). Most of it went together fine except for one bent support leg, causing it not to fit over the main spine rail of the bed...and one of the hollow tubes for the back rest was bent and would not nest into the larger hollow tube it was intended to click into. I had to grab a mallet and hammer these pieces back into shape in order for them to fit properly. Huge hassle! There are a lot of really bad welds and some of the welds prevent pieces from fitting flush with one another. Many scuffs, scratches and dents that went through the powder coat and into the metal. A few pieces with orange mystery stains. They rubbed off easily, but just another indicator that someone bought this, tried putting it together and sent it back. This company repackaged it and sent it to me, I'm certain of it. On the plus side, the bed is now together and feels sturdy. I don't know that I'd order this bed again due to all the issues I had with this 2nd unit. What took 30 minutes the first time, took over an hour this time due to bent parts. All the hardware was there, so that was a plus. And instructions are pretty clear and easy to understand. I do hope they fix these quality control problems, bc this really is a nice bed for a decent price. They need to stop sending customers used/defective goods though...not a great look. ... show more
