I am really impressed with the frame. I’ve only had it for 6 months so I can’t attest to its long-term value. But for now it is really holding up. It’s sturdy and looks good. Overall it's a great bed. It did take a while to put together, and there's no way I would have been able to do it without my own tools. The big problem is that one of the pieces that is supposed to be threaded on both ends missed getting the threads in. Luckily my dad had the tools to thread it and was able to get it to work, but without that I would have had to take it back apart and send it back. I will also say, on the technical side, the welding is abysmal. If you know anything about welding, shield your eyes. It's bad. But that's what you get at this price tag. Overall it is cute, very sturdy (I'm plus size and it didn't even creak when I flopped down on it), and fits my regular twin size mattress. My mattress is a little thick for it, I would say use it with a 8 or 10 inch mattress, mine I believe is 12, and it almost completely covers the decorative ends, it is almost too thick for this frame. But I like it and I will live with it till I can afford a different mattress ... show more

Well-packed. It took almost as long to unpack and organize parts as it did to assemble. The assembly instructions take some deductive reasoning (like attach “i” to both “O”s before attaching O to frame), but a slow, methodical approach made assembly fairly easy for a solo older women who is moderately handy. I left most screws fairly loose until the end. I used a wall once early on to help hold the parts until I could screw them together. I only had to disassemble one part and turn it 180 degrees at the end in order to get screw holes where they needed to be. Not too bad! The bed is super sturdy- much more than I expected- and looks beautiful! I am very happy with the result, and I would highly recommend! ... show more

A million little pieces. And they all have to be put together with a pair of pliers and an Allen wrench. But once you get it together (took me 6 hours working alone, Turned out good and is sturdy I hope but never again!
