The media could not be loaded. Well I'm extremely dissapointed in this unit, especially given the price tag that goes with it. I think the side wall not being flush with the lid is a manufacturing error of some kind. The milk/foam issue is the biggest dissapointment !!! It basically doesn't work and I've literally thrown away 30 drinks already at my business......Even from the outset of using the machine it didn't work. I've cleaned ALL of the parts time and time again and still have the same problem. It appears that the foaming system piece that attaches to the machine is not sealing correctly. I don't know why as the unit is new. I've even tried wiggling the foaming unit around and it sometimes seals and works but lets face it I don't/shouldn't have to do that everytime I need drink. I wouldn't recommend this machine to anyone who needs a viable family/commercial unit at all. ... show more

This coffee maker makes all the most popular drinks and does them well. The maker is very robust and built for heavy use. Awesome product.

Well I'm extremely dissapointed in this unit, especially given the price tag that goes with it. I bough this unit to replaced my 7 year old Jura Impressa J9.3. The milk/foam issue is the biggest dissapointment !!! It basically doesn't work. I've cleaned ALL of the parts time and time again and still have the same problem. Machine was never able to make a flat white or cappuccino consistently. All it did was make a loud noise and no milk dispenser. The only positive is that the coffee came out very Hot and taste. Jura need to fix the milk system ... show more

    • Tricky milk system that is inconsistent in its delivery.
The milk system does not work as advertised. Machine was never able to make a flat white consistently. All it did was make a loud noise and no milk dispenser. Cappuccino with milk foam came out ok, but not consistently. A machine this expense should really be plug and play. Jura X8 was not good at all. Would not recommend ... show more

    • Use this at work and love it
My work installed this machine, and I absolutely love it. Keep in mind that I didn't buy it, nor do I have to clean it, and I'm not privy to any of the possible maintenance that might go along with it, but it makes the best latte/espresso I've ever seen in an automatic machine. I love it!!!

We purchased a Jura X8 in fall of 2021 to provide to furnish in our Dr.’s Lounge. Amazing with the purchase, we included all of the recommended accessories, including all recommended filters, cleaning tablets etc. our machine is monitored daily (multiple times), we have only used filtered water in it, have responded to all change filter and cleaning notifications. About 1 year in we had sent out for our 1st $1800 dollar repair and now have add’l repairs at a similar price point. We have learned that all the pieces inside are plastic and do not last long. Jura has been extremely difficult to work with, claims the issues are all user error issues, as they don’t make “lemons”. Our experience indicates otherwise. We made sure we purchased a commercial machine and we’re making approx 50 cups a day, nowhere near the “up to 250” cups a day claim they make on their website. The coffee and espresso has been great (have to give credit to the beans here too!) but have shelled out well over 5k on this, I would expect to get more than 15 months out of it. ... show more
