I got these to use at home, teaching my kids to punch and kick properly. I like that the design helps protect your wrist from wayward strikes. The pads are long enough to keep your hand and wrist a safe distance from the target. They are split so some of the shock is absorbed. They feel of a good quality construction for our home use. If you plan to use them in a gym setting with lots more use, you may want to find a more professional quality one, but for my purposes these are great. I would recommend this product.

These are surprisingly soft targets. They do make a good bit of noise as feedback for a solid hit. There is an intentionally open area at the top that absorbs a lot of the force and makes the noise. Bonus... these not only function as targets, but work well when you want to practice attacks. You can whack the person with these reasonably hard and not really cause any injury... and the load 'thwap' sound is easy to hear, providing real feedback to the person getting whacked that they missed something in their defense. You will not be able to swing them too fast but you will be able to swing them fast enough to be a reasonably good training aid. The noise will sound impressive but after a while its just 'loud'. Would love a way to quiet them down a touch.

I’ve used numerous focus pads over the past 4 decades and these kicking pads from JUOIFIP are as good as any I’ve seen and/or used. Typically called ‘clappers’ because of the sound they make on impact, these pads are typical. They have thin boards built in to the interior split to make the impact sound. The rest of the pad is made of compressed foam covered with PU leather (polyurethane leather). That makes the pad tough and durable. I’ve never heard of this company before (of course, they’ve never heard of me either), but these are a professionally made pair of clappers and I highly recommend them. Easy 5 Star rating.

These punching bags are great to have around your home if you have kids that are starting to get into any type of martial arts (Taekwondo in our case). These reminded me of when I was first learning it, as they would be frequently used for both punching and kicking practice. The double-sided-ness of the product helps with making quality, loud sounds, adding to the excitement of getting a good punch or kick in for those practicing. The product description has it listed for kids, and I agree that is probably the most common use case, but these are still plenty big enough for adults to punch/kick into. Overall, this is a great quality set!

We have some (super expensive) name brand kick pads like these and these are comparable quality wise. The size is the same, the quality is good, and the clapping function is there. Good practice aid for martial arts.

My daughter is 9 and participates in kickboxing. She is always looking to practice at home and we have purchased pads in the past, but they are always bulky and awkward. These are lightweight and very easy to move around quickly.
