I originally bought these lights to use at our wedding, which was out in a park forest. They worked amazing! Almost a year later and we use them around our front yard. We change the colors for holidays. Super easy. We have 10 of these lights. They are worth it! They are very bright. We have left them outside in the hot sun, rain, snow, ice and they still work and are going strong. We live in the Pacific NW for temperature reference. So our nights in the Winter may dip into the high 20s, but most commonly low 30s. We did have some 115 degree days last Summer. So even with the rainy Winter days they were still storing enough energy to make it through evenings before we go to bed. Obviously Spring/Summer they last longer because there is more direct sunlight. ... show more

Very happy with how well packaged; durable looking; very bright, brilliant color when they . work. I wanted them for my Christmas lighting; they are beautiful. However this is why I rated 4 stars; unless it's a sunny day, which is a rarity in the winter where I live they don't last long or don't work at all, which for the price point is extremely disappointing. My prior older technology solar lights worked much better than these. Honestly I may return these for this reason....They may be good if you live in a sunny region, but if not you'll be waiting until spring or summer for full functionality..... ... show more

I like these lights and they look great, but they are more like flood lights than spotlights. They are very sturdy but you pay for what you get with these things so they are pretty good. So far they've lasted all night into the morning. I've used them under trees, in gardens, and to light up the front of my house. They all look great without being obnoxious. Make no doubt the solar panel is bigger than most lights, but the charge last all night and it isn't that noticeable. I will be buying more. ... show more

These lights are great, bought two, but one stopped working after a little past a year. Update. Before I got rid of the light that would not switch back on, I removed the little flexible thingy that covers the slide. It exposed a plastic tab. When I moved this, the light worked again. So if you need to change a setting, remove the little cover, make the change, and then put the cover on. Bingo. ... show more

If you like lights that will come on for 2 hrs at night and shut right off afterwards..these are perfect for you. A little update on these lights, still horrible. The seller reached out to me claiming he could refund me for them. Asked like 20 questions, I took pictures, jumped thru hoops of fire. Then he goes, well how about 50% refund. Ahh, no my guy you said a FULL REFUND. Then he goes, well since they have already been refused we wouldn't be able to refund you even tho the order # I provided was for the lights I didn't return. I don't know how many times I told this dude, they worked just as bad as they do now in the winter s they did then in summer. He comes back with telling me about more sunlight in the summer blah blah blah..told him like a bunch of times, summer they worked no different in 100% sunshine. I drive home in at night and go by a lot of other peoples house and seems like their solar lights that probably costed half the price work just fine. I come home to my house and im. in the dark...NEVER AGAIN FROM THIS SUPPLIER!!! ... show more

Yes they are 100 lumens brighter, but in recent years, JSOT included important mounting brackets. Not every lighting need is ground based. Higher is better for solar power, and maximum solar collection.
