I use the cover to protect the screen and tiller of Epropulsion Spirit 1.0 electric outboard. It also covers top half of the motor without the battery. Have not used the cover with battery installed. Seems to work well for my unusual application. Tiller on the Spirit outboard folds down, not up. So I fold the tiller down, parallel to the shaft of the outboard when stored on the motor mount of my 19ft sailboat. Remove the battery for charging, cover the motor, and I'm done with the motor. Good product. No issues. I have a 60 hp Etec and this cover is actually to large for it. It will work but is a little baggy. Might want to try the smaller one if you haven’t purchased yet.
