Too good to be true. Runs my trolling motor on a small canoe for around 20 minutes before completely dieing. I'm guessing the true capacity is much lower than listed.

Review update Mar 19th 2024 I changed the Rover 100A charge controller default LiFePo4 charge parameter to User define parameter, after weeks of trial and error settings and a couple of months in system running at slightly reduced capacity, I can safely declare that the 24V 100AH LiFePo4 is operating to my acceptable expectations without any issues, therefore, raising stars from 1 to 4 Original review below This 24V 100AH LiFePO4 battery accepts charge from Renogy 100A MPPT charger and provides power to a 24V 3000W pure sinewave inverter. However, as the battery charging reaches around 28.3V, the BMS shuts the battery down, not providing any voltage to MPPT charger which requires a battery voltage presence at all time, hence the MPPT charger output went berserk and screaming battery error, while the power inverter was barking battery error at the same time. Turn off the MPPT charger and let the battery BMS recover itself and started to delivery power, turn the MPPT charging back on, and the BMS shuts itself down as it approach full charge, both the MPPT charger and the inverter were screaming again, highly repeatable, and may damage the charger, inverter and equipments if it happens too often. Seller approved the return, but said buyer pays for return shipping, which is over $500 according to USPS shipping calculator for 50LB from east coast to west coast. Contacted Amazon before the purchase and assured me that I can free return the 50LB item through their channels, now they are saying that its between me and the 3rd party seller.

Although the lead-acid battery industry wants you to believe Lithium Iron Phosphate (LIFEPO4) are not for starting engines I have several in service. You just need to verify that the Lithium battery has a BMS which can supply sufficient surge current for a few seconds at the start. This product states it’s BMS can do 100 amps continuously, 200 for a long surge and 300 for less than 5 seconds which is sufficient for a properly running mid size truck engine or smaller. Of course you need to check case dimensions and may need to adapt the battery cable terminals to connect to the battery which was the case here (the 3/8x16 side terminals on the cables needed to be adapted to mate with the 5/16 battery terminals). Insert key, twist and 1/2-1 second later engine springs to life.

So far so good. Too early to confirm the operation of these batteries but everything appears to be within parameters so fat UPDATE: I am still happy with my purchase after 10 months of use. No battery problems at all. I mainly use my system as emergency power backup but also redirect A/C from my inverter for routine use after the batteries are charged.

Used to add capacity to home solar system. Added 4 more of these batteries combined with 4 x 280A\h ea for a total 19.2kW\hr As advertised, reasonably light compared to same same sized sealed lead acid\AGM types No comment yet on longevity...check back in a couple years
